For a person to take interest in my style of art, it requires impressive intelligence and the ability to view "art" through the mind of it's creator.
Every time I see a new watcher/supporter on my messages, I always investigate them. I may not respond or comment, but I do follow. I have not been let down by any single person on my list:

I've been taking a deviantart break for a while, although I'm rewriting a promising short story I'll have up in a little while. I just heard one of my arch-nemesi (whatever the plural is) published one of his works, so I have a sudden burst of inspiration. If you have anything in particular you want me to read, tell me so: I have so many deviations and journals in my box I don't know where to start, I'll probably just delete them all.

One question for you, with regard to Raven ( ): what's with the comment on her being a mother? She mentioned it to me, and no matter how many times I hear it or read it, it still gets to me. So what gives?

That was what we call a joke. What I'm saying is this: "I really like what I've read but the woman DOES have a real life (which I respect) and thus she's hardly writing anything at all." Clearer?

While it was mentioned to me as a joke, I hardly saw the humor in it. I don't know how much anyone was really told about that whole "mother" thing, because I highly doubt Raven expressed it to everyone else the way she did it to me.

It's not that I don't understand your comment, but just making mention of that bothered me, because there was just something about the thought of my girlfriend being pregnant because the method of birth control we chose "failed" that really bothered me. And while what you said was intended as a joke, I hardly found it funny, and unless I've misinterpreted her, neither did she.

I'm sorry then; I knew nothing of the circumstances. I assumed, when she told me that, that she was a thirty-something and a happy mother.
It was just a colloquial way really of saying "well, she has issues in real life that keep her from writing more and I understand that". If it bothers any of you two, I'll take it out with my next edit.

I vaguely understood where you were coming from, but the fact that it was apparent that you didn't know the circumstances behind your comment somewhat bothered me.
As I said to Raven last night, I'm not as bothered as I make it sound, but I'm a firm believer in knowing the background info of what you say. And I do find it funny that you'd assume she was older and a mother, being only 19 and without any kids

Well I really need some advice about David... I finally had a short talk with him that basically got neither of us anywhere. I was basically sitting there trying to study and David turns up the stereo really loud very purposely to annoy me and so on and so forth... he was a real a**h*** like normal and I really don't know how to deal with it.
