Glad you enjoyed it. I was originally gonna make it sort of an oakheart and Bluefur moment, but I thought Skyfeather watching the tom she's going to fall in love with fight off an owl thinking he's a Thunderclan queen in distress along with her kits.
Plus the owl was a idea was tinkering with cause the only owl I heard that are the Northern hawk owl and the Northern Pygmy owl. So I just add the owl cause I figure it would add more drama to the story.

Skyfeather wandered past a clump of brackens deep in thought. She was thirsty and the river burbling ahead was calling her towards it. The reeds that covered her camp territory were still lush and bountiful which sheltered this part of Riverclan from the chilly nights and cold breeze's and Skyfeather noticed how the river had risen since the heights of leaf-fall splashing over stones and lapping at the shores of her territory. Her thoughts were interrupted as she felt cool dampness of the river on her front paws. She then looked down to see that she had two of her front paws were standing in the shallow part of the river which felt so familiar and yet somewhat strange she couldn't understand why she was so distracted, No, she knew why it was because of her last conversation with Tansybright and Spottedcloud about Skyfeather's need to get a mate.
But Skyfeather couldn't see the point of having a mate when she just got her warrior name. What would be the point, so she could be stuck in a cramped nursery with mewling kits who would constantly ask her for food and attention. she tried to shake the thought aside but it clung to her in mind likeΒ a wasp nest to a tree branch. Her ears perked up as heard a loud screech came from overhead, Skyfeather as crouched down recognizing it as the screech of an owl (Owl Screech). Skyfeather looked to the other side of the river where Thunderclan territory lay and heard the owl screech again (Owl screech). (Skyfeather thinking):" Did a queen wander far thunderclan camp and nursery and give birth to her kits outside the camp safety? Surely Thunderclan's warriors would not be so rabbit-brained. But Skyfeather knew that if that was the case, the queen and her family would be in danger. So without a moment of hesitating she plopped down into water and swam over to thunderclan side of territory. And ran through the forest and caught sight of the owl, Skyfeather unsheathed her claws but wasn't sure what to do next how was she going to take on fully grown owl? Suddenly her ears perked up and she heard the owl screech followed by Loud Yowl and she looked to see not a queen and frightened mewling kits but lean, muscular, battered scarred tortishell tom. who hissed towards large bird. The owl's talon's caught tom by his stomach and began lifting off ground with ease. Skyfeather's eye's widen with sheer as continued to watch owls brought death to the forest stealing prey as well as kits that strayed to far from their mothers. "I should helped him, what kind of warrior would just stand there and do nothing as...." As Skyfeather was about to continue she owl screech rip through the tree tops followed by thud of branches and leaves from the tree tops. Skyfeather looked up to see the owl and the tom come crashing from the tree branches, leaves falling was they fell she then saw the owl hit the ground with a loud sickening thud and saw that it's wing had large claw marks scored it as the owl struggled to get to his feet the torishell tom who had landed right beside the owl got to his unsteady paws and padded over to and pressed down on its throat and swiped at it with his claws then he bit down on the owl and went limp. "You...put up...quite the fight...you sharpclaw." The Tortishell said panting as he began to eat the owl.
Skyfeather couldn't believe her eye no clan cat had ever taken on a fully grown owl before and lived to talk about it. And She found herself watching the tom consume his fresh-kill with stunned awe... "Are you going to keep at me?" The tom asked licking his lips.Β
