Welp, hello there you person. I'm a really awkward teenage derp who loves to draw! Most of what I draw is fan art, which can be from a lot of things since there isn't much I dislike honestly. However, you can likely expect me to often end up drawing Pokemon or things from animated series I admire such as Gravity Falls and Over The Garden Wall, and of course Steven Universe! I wanted to reply to the comment you left to this stamp , but as the stamp's author has locked comments, I will reply here.
I can't agree. It's really disappointing actually with some people. There's some people highly talented at one subject, and then they ignore it and wish to be something their terrible at that just dissapoints them yet they claim they love to do it any way. For exp, a girl who get's straight A's in things like science and math naturally with little study, and then waste it all on another skill such as music or art and they end up being terrible at it, yet say it's their "main goal in life". It's disappointing, as it means some one who could grow up to be something like a great scientist or doctor that might end up saving lives, and then instead ends up choosing something their really bad at and helping no one or themselves. If it's a hobby it's fine, but if some one tells you you're terrible at whatever your focusing on as a life goal, then compare it to what your good at and actually make a good choice of which is better.
That really depends on the point of view. Sure, the situation you wrote down here is rather disappointing (not to mention that you've been talking about career choices, which is a bit overboard in this case imo). But then, there are also things you're naturally good at, but you don't like them for some reason.
For example, I'm rather good at making various photomanipulations, but after thinking recently about what I can do with these skills (spoiler: absolutely nothing that would excite me), I was so disappointed, I really felt like ditching doing them. But then, i can't really recall anything else I'm good that (other than writing in English, but that's a necessary skill for communication in the worldwide web, so that doesn't really count).
And then there's drawing. I'm certainly bad at it, but I still want to do it because of what perspectives I see do with it. I'd really rather draw anything that's on my mind myself rather than pay precious monies (which I often lack) to others for it; not to mention that my history of asking others draw for me is relatively disappointing. Not to mention that there are myriads of things I'd love to draw.
Then again, I'm not talking about career choices, which is a quite different thing; besides, I can't think of a profession I'd be really good at, so I'm in no right of speaking about this subject.
