But since then I've been able to run SAI perfectly on my Mac using VMware. If you still haven't had luck solving that, I'll gladly tell you how to get your tablet to work.

Hello there.
I was searching stuff on Google and came across a post in your journal regarding VMware.
I was wondering if you use Paint Tool SAI on your Mac on under VMware. If you do, I need help. x[
I've been using SAI on my PC before, then got a MacBook for my Birthday and just got it back today with VMware installed on it.
However, SAI isn't working right. :[
The stroke/pressure stabilizer aren't working at all. D:
I tried OpenCanvas and it's the same; though it can just barely detect pressure. But overall, both programs are unusable at their fullest extent.
Did you have these problems at first too? And if so, how did you fix it.
Oh and if it makes a difference, I installed my tablet driver again into the Windows VM but that didn't help. :[

Ahh, ya, I tried the same things, but I wasn't able to get it working. I took SAI off the internet, and used the first version of opencanvas, so I don't know whether or not it's the same.
When I researched VMware I read somewhere that the pen pressure is supposed to work, so I guess it might just be my version of SAI/opencanvas. If you bought SAI and installed it via CD, you could try using boot camp to download the drivers. (Restart your computer and hold down the alt key when it starts up again, I think, and go to windows, put in the tablet CD and use that instead of getting the drivers through the internet.) Or if you already did that, if you have a wacom tablet then do the opposite; go to their website and download the drivers there.
Anyway, unfortunately, I didn't fix the problems, haha. I haven't used SAI in a long time, but hopefully I'll be able to buy the actual version and see if that helps.
