So...I was gone for...I'm not even sure how long. and I come back and finally get the chance to look at your art and lo and freakking behold you've improved so dang much I was left wondering if it was your art or official for a while. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE.Β

Thank you so much! I just tirelessly keep working on it. I'm stubborn if anything else when it comes to art. But yes, it certainly has been a while! I know you said you haven't been drawing much lately, but I still want to see what you've done! I'm sure you've improved a lot as well, whether you think so or not.

haha, the most I've done is doodles, of which you've seen on FB if anything else..aside from that I did just post a pic recently...I feel more like I've lost my touch rather than gained any new experience...Seeing you doing so well at everything you want to do makes me want to start life all over so I can do what I really want and not what I 'should' according to others...Seriously, you're amazing. I'm really glad you're doing well! You're a real inspiration. A real living inspiration. I'm grateful to know you.

That really means a lot to me, honest. I'm elated to know that I'm an inspiration to someone! I must say I feel the same way about you and your art, too. I've always admired the carefree style you have, and how expressive it is. Every piece I've seen of yours has some kind of tangible feeling to it. I'm particularly impressed with your doodles! Doodling is something I actually have a lot of trouble with. I envy people who can just fill a sketch book with doodles and scribbles, regardless of their quality. Doodles are awesome.

I think the expressions I place in my art are something I've grown to build myself without actually realizing it...even without color in the picture sometimes I feel a mood to my doodles...Do you ever notice that I wonder? I can feel the emotion in your pictures too. You're getting really good at it! doodles are probably part of the carefree feeling I guess? I love doing them since I don't usually have the time for a full blown piece of work...Thank you very much for your compliments, really. I don't think I deserve them, nor do I do well enough to hear such things from someone as amazing as you, which just makes me want to thank you all the more. But honestly of the two of us, you are the better hands down! If only though...If only we could merge our art in such a way that each fills the other's blank spots. Mine wouldn't be much help though

You should reserve some of that praise for yourself, honestly. I don't like to think of artists as one being better than the other -- they're just different in style and expression. For instance, I wouldn't be able to replicate your style because it's yours and yours alone. The best I'd be able to do is mimic it, but nothing more. That's what makes it special and incomparable to others. I guess you can gauge skill to a certain degree no matter what the style, but it's still highly subjective regardless. At a certain point, I think art becomes less about skill and more about expression, and expression is not dependent on skill. So I completely disagree that I'm better than you hands down. We simply express ourselves in different ways with our art, and that's freaking awesome. You should be goddamn proud of your art because you've already established a really distinguishable and expressive style, which even some of the most skilled artists can't quite achieve.

Well you got me there, you're right. Everyone has their own style that no one else can have. I'm just constantly impressed with yours. It is an expression, just like how any other art form is, that's why it is called an art. Beautifully special in that it is unique to each individual. Thank you for the compliments, you're too kind.Β
