Hello, sorry for my lateness for the IMHO task.

So, firstly from the character. I must say that Suellen is a interesting character. From the way she acts, her attitudes and also her style, she is unique. One thing that makes her more......real, I mean that she is just like human, having either good and bad attitudes, is when I know that she often swears, even with different languages. Well, we hardly expect a character without any flaw. But from that thing, the story won't get boring. Because we can know how the character reached the goals while the character must handle its weakness. Sometimes, I wonder how Sue interacts with people while she has that kind of bad habit.

Also, I appreciate your effort on creating the concept and settings of her. I can see your seriousness and consistency especially at the wardrobe task. You had tried to put details on how she dress.

Talking about the missing thing from your artwork. Well, I suggest that maybe you should find more references on body anatomy proportion. From the Anatomy task, I see that the body had been properly fleshed. But, the torso and the legs proportion seems odd.

Overall, you've done a great work on Suellen personality, as well as her story setting. I salute for your consistency and your efforts on that.

Finally here to share my comment on Sue as OC-training 4th round task seventh.

Character

I love her name! Listen: “Suellen Salyor”, it sounds so cool and the spelling is not much twisted.

Short hair-do accompanied by long fringe makes her recognizable. I also like her greyish wardrobe. She successfully developed own, classy and graceful style. Clothes you designed for her adds up to a consistent appearance.

Although I did not enjoy “D.Grey-man” (two episodes were enough to start seeking another entertainment),  Sue’s personality really appeals to me. I like her self-esteem, I like that she attracts attention with her talents and sometimes acting foolish because of desire to be free. I think facts that I don’t like the series and find appealing the OC is much about who I am.

Artistic skills

Overall feel of your art-works is all right . Compositions are good and colors are well balanced. You successfully depict faces and body language. Another advantage are backgrounds – it’s nice when an art-work has one to accompany the main figure.

My favorite piece of yours is “guess who” hand stand of the edge of a wall or tower. It has two features that I miss in some your other art-works.

Be careful with anatomy, you’re already good

First is solid work on anatomy. You marked more than body and limbs. Each muscle is nicely curved and located in its place. Haunches, thighs and also feet, palms, fingers – everything is carefully refined and accurate. In my opinion you lost some of this accuracy in "Anatomy" task. In that piece I find her chest sunken and knees odd - as calves were directly bond to tights. On the other hand enrollment piece has successful anatomy - there are nicely done such details like cheeks or toes.

Seek for best option to depict main theme

Another advantage of “guess who” and “enrollment” pieces are clearly depicted theme and how you manage viewers’ attention. Main figure takes two thirds of image space - it is easy to tell that the girl performs acrobatics, so theme is "agility, physical fitness". One third is for some fancy creatures that nicely covers secondary theme "fantasy or magical girl setting".

I miss this clearly depicted theme and leading viewers’ attention especially in your art-trade featuring isis2433 ’s Thesia. Seeing the thumb in my notifications feed I was wondering what this piece is about. Mist is good to mark secondary theme "dream, (eternal) rest” but in my opinion main theme "Thesia" isn't developed – it should be more polished and take more space than one third of canvas. (A possible solution developing your original idea: putting dead Thesia who wears gentle smile in a coffin, adding some flowers as extra decoration.)

I think "Wardrobe" piece could show less wooden desk and more garments. The idea of newspaper scraps and, photos and tiny items is brilliant. I just wish you put the emphasis on clothes by making photos bigger.

Although all remarks are much about my own taste, I hope they are helpful. Forget them it they are not. All in all, you appear to have a good grasp on digital drawing. Effort, thought and time that you put in your art-works make them appealing.
