*weary sigh* change isn't a quick thing that can come from another person. it takes time, knowledge and effort. but i hope you manage to at least be someone you can or will be content with.
in a way you are correct that, no, i do not consider you an acquaintance. acquaintances talk lighthearted, awkward greetings and give the occasional joke - not talk suicide and other peoples death threats. *thinking of comparison*... to me, your kind of like the insertive sidekick/character trope - the kind where the reclusive mc just tolerates.Β you just kinda ... exist to meΒ - neither in a good way or a bad way. but technically, thatΒ isΒ an acquaintance type.Β
so, no, i don't consider you an acquaintance, but yes, youΒ areΒ one.Β
my opinion is most probably caused by the type of person i guess i am - always telling jokes to have a good time and going quiet or impartial when the heavy topics are brought up as a way to cope (i am way to highly empathetic and cry watching the news if i'm not prepared). despite that, i always tend to hold people at a distance, but not so far that it leaves them or myself uncomfortable or lonely. i'd say i'm actually surprisingly well liked in a general way. however, you've often led or jumped right into it with the heavy stuff despite my repeated poor reactions (of which i am sorry but could not help). i'm not saying don't talk about that stuff with someone "because it makes you a bad person" - it doesn't - i'm just saying i'm the wrong person to talk about it with. i hope you find a good rant buddy when it comes to the heavy stuff. i'm just unfortunately not that person.
but if you did for some reason still wanna chat with me like a basic acquaintance, i'm okay with that - like weather XD did you know it's snowing where i am right now? like, it's May already! i'd rather rain! i may be in Canada, but i'm notΒ thatΒ far North.
i hope i've made myself clear. and ps, i only replied back on my profile page because people will need to go through the extra effort of clicking the link that shows the rest of the chat - so only the most curious of people are going to listen in which i'm fine with (it's people who ain't got time for drama i'm worried about annoying) ... unless the comments are different on Eclipse

portray yourself as the villain, more often than not you will be perceived as a villain and people will respond in kind. "every action has an equal or opposite reation" - science
think of it like this - those characters are good for their respective stories (people love-to-hate fictional villains) - it's a whole other thing when you meet someone like that IRL. lot of people like the concept of yandere's - but i don't think the same applies for everyone about irl counter parts
also, the links aren't necessary - i'm rather paranoid about clicking links, even if i can tell it really is just a youtube video. if i'm curious about something, i'll search it myself, if i'm not i'll just take a persons word for it

tends to happen when you go 'round trying to pick fights cuz ya think it's funny - but, eh. i'm not here to judge you (that's just a byproduct of what you said to all those people defending what they believe in - of just how harsh it was) ... i'm almost always willing to try again though. it can be hard for some to remember these replies aren't from NPCs, but real people with faces and problems their own.
i'm here for the art, and to try to brighten someones day. so if you're here to insult my stuff too at some point because 'Undertale is dead,' at least keep it constructive, k? and please don't pick on other people making comments. you don't have to feel obligated to pretend you like my stuff because i was nice (or at least used hard to argue facts when confronting you, rather than the insults that were flying around) - you could go find something you do like - like Mother 3.Β
but i hope things have calmed down enough to move on at least. the world is in crisis and there are more important things we should be doing than flinging insults around on the internet.

not 'the internet.' individuals. individuals causing fights for the lols. individualsΒ that can't see the faces of those their words are hurting. individuals ... who could be in the very position you find yourself in - feeling as if the world is out for them and that the only way to get out of the hate is to give it back tenfold. people don't give up that easy and all it's going to accomplish is spread further. you aren't alone in that vicious circle.
but, are they really worth the effort of stooping to their level - to become what you say you hate so much in the world? just for a brief moment of not feeling so suck?
rather than "everyone can be a good person if they just try," how 'bout i ask you, if you can just try to be better than 'them,' eh?
we're all stuck in a loop of one form or another. but it's up to us to change and choose what that loop is. be it one of hate, sadness or joy. i know i'm still trying to get out of my own loop to something better. i hope you are too.

sorry about digging that past up (*absently adds* technically you did the same before with a video of a rant that was from 2016 and argued against it when i said that they could have changed their stance *cough, cough* irrelevant *cough*). i don't know what you've been up to lately and i was just making assumptions that you were still doing similar like you had ... sooo that deserves an apology (even if it's kinda a sorry-not-sorry situation lol).
but at least you've managed to pull back to the others starting things rather than being the one starting things yourself ^^ a good enough start at least. but i bet your still slinging insult like confetti though - if your reply was anything to go on
and to elaborate - i'm not asking you to start hand-holding every bully out there - you're only one person and that would weigh on anyone. besides XD people getting picked on deserve dibs for that fight! the dibs is sacred! *being slightly sarcastic*
on a more serious note, just because i try to keep things sarcastic, civil and lighthearted, doesn't mean these conversations this past year don't still weigh on me more heavily than i let on - even if i've only really argued with one person ever online for an extended time (i.e. you) it's still hard to see such consecrated discontent with the word and everyone in it when i'm at such a low place myself and trying so hard to be positive. like i say - you're only seeing part of someones life through their comments, and just like i don't know you, you don't know me. i can't imagine how your mental welfare is, facing these 'bullies' constantly - makes me not want to wake up just imagining it. but i hope your managing your life better than i am mine.
i hope you're not offended, but i need to take a break from this kind of thing. not just for a few days - but months - k? i'm still here if you want to talk about other things, but i can't keep going with such negativity. i know you probably think i'm lying or exaggerate, but can you at least give me the benefit of the doubt that maybe, just maybe, you stumbled upon someone that is in worse condition than yourself?

i'm sorry to hear something like that, but i'm not surprised something like that has happened. people will make a joke of anything - either to cope or for other less common/nice reasons. if she was friend you have my condolences - i know what it's like to loose someone, even if it's not in the same way. i even had a friend where a few of her friends... so i know it's hard.Β
