Quake is one of nick fury's trusted agent (the other being black widow) she has level 10 shield security clearance, she led the secret warriors and has the ability to generate earthquake

Just like in Manga. That's why there's not as much Dragonball Z and One Piece and Bleach anymore because it's getting harder and harder to develop unique characters and plots. That's why there's more romance and spin-offs of old fairy tales.
It's not that people are any less creative as they were 5, 10 years ago, it's because we've basically seen it all and that's why we keep reading, to see how authors can top each other.
