Yes, very much so, though it wasn't strictly intentional in Death is Inevitable. I just love the way the night sky feels alive. I'd love to do something like Monet, too, but I haven't really figured out that particular brand of impressionism yet. When asked if I could paint a pony in the way I did In the Beginning a Derpy painting very similar to one of Van Gogh's self portraits appeared. Maybe it's just the style. ^_^;

and well I still stand by what I said, a toaster would be hilarious especially if it was an over engineered 50's toaster

I think it has rubbed you hard and you've been more than half convinced to make it into a toaster because you get the joke. Also you acknowledge the time and effort put into coming up with his cutie mark and you don't want that wasted, but You still can't get the idea of a toaster for his cutiemark out of your head, so I suggest coming up with one, probably bearing toast, and stick it on his flank just to see how you like it and how you can use it as part of his character...


so just do it, make it into a toaster because I know you really really want to, deep down inside
