Notice how valendale resorts to ad-homs when your arguments continue to pound on his beliefs.... doe the 'john birch' society even still exist?

It is a shame that he'd rather block comments and throw insults than trust in the merits of his argument. I did right response before learning I was blocked from comment. Below is my response to his last comment in the link before blocking me. comments.deviantart.com/1/5081β¦
"The problem with just using energy accounting is it accounts for only one type of material in this case energy. The difficulty is translating one good into other goods. There are countless ways to make a product simply trying to reduce the materials needed isn't always whats necessary, or desirable. We also have to consider the different kinds of materials that can be used. Do I use metals, or plastics. We also have to factor in production methods. Do I make it locally, or abroad. Making the best decision is nearly impossible without knowing the value of goods which is only achievable through Markets and the Supply and Demand Price systems they bring.
Printers don't have termination chips in them. I don't know where you've heard that nonsense. Also no amount of propaganda will keep a good product from being bought by consumers especially in the information age. If John D. Rockefeller couldn't convince Americans not to buy light bulbs I doubt the Oil Industry will stop genuinely good and competitive alternatives.
May you please explain what this alternative is?
There is no artificial scarcity. The reason why people are poor is because they don't have the freedom to produce and distribute goods and services and sell them at market value. Eliminate economic restrictions and goods will be able to move where they are needed and people in poor countries will have an opportunity to provide goods and services and make a living.
Seriously? You're response is to say I'm part of the John Birch Society. It's sad you turn to insults instead of actually making an argument."

Keep an eye on him, he'll be proclaiming you an 'industry shill' at some point. Probably for 'big oil'
