Awesome! I love Final Fantasy X and I used to be a huge Yu Yu Hakusho fan. Mind if I ask who your planning to do? And OMG Ventus! I'm a few hours into his story (I'm a bit behind having only beaten 358/2 yesterday...) I love him! Can't wait to see it! I'm sure it will be awesome! And don't worry, I'm three years behind getting a new Org. XIII coat...mine...well...it sucks.
And I'm 100% sure you'll never disappoint!

Tidus and Ven do sound pretty difficult, but at the end that accomplished feeling will be all the better!
I understand the all time favorite character, Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh will forever hold a place in my heart, and wow, I have trouble getting a single cosplay done before a con, I can't imagine having so many done!! I can't wait to seeee!!
I can understand the feeling of trying to stay in character, I did a photoshot for someone, wearing their Final Fantasy XIII Seifer cosplay. It was so hard to keep serious face, while struggling to keep the heavy prop in place.
And yes, it does. It was my first cosplay, made by me and my mom, and it isn't made from anything that gives that "leather look", I think it's actually a kind of suit material.... I'm planning to make a new one for Halcon 2012 though.
