I see I see, this is my 3rd deployment (Iraq 6 1/2 months at Camp Blue Diamond, Iraq 13 1/2 months on Al Asad, Afghanistan 7 months into a year deployment Leatherneck + some FOB time) in a 5 year contract, just before I came out here this time I reupped for 4 more years though.

not really, I've been deploying back to back, with field ops, and pre deployment build ups right after I get back till before I deploy again (about 8 months stateside for a year deployed, so a 2/3 ratio of deployed time to home time...). It has not been very good for my social/personal life. :-/

Money was never a big thing for me... I got told a 'reason' that because of what I do makes money issues disappear, so did the one I wake up to... :-/

Don't feel to bad about that second thing.The reason I re inlisted took off with my kids then divorced me on my last deployment.If it wasn't for them i never would have come back.
