I'm pursuing an English degree right now. I'd like to eventually be an English professor, but I might take some time off after my bachelor's so I can go teach ESL in the UK. (You see, there's a boy in England...<3)

English sounds amazing! I just can't bring myself to sit down and read all the literature I would need to know for that degree... I do love reading books, but sometimes reading the Classics just... gets a little boring for me?

Believe me, I know what you mean. Pretty much my entire high school English education was focused on the classics, and despite how much I love them, as soon as I graduated I spent about a year just reading "easy" things like Harry Potter and Catcher in the Rye, lol. But at uni, I've actually been getting a very interesting mixture of different types of literature, so it keeps things interesting. Maybe I've just been really lucky with the profs I've gotten! <3
W-Well, that's because it's not official yet, haha. /// I can't bring myself to talk to him about it over Skype, so we've kind of been avoiding it. I'm waiting for him to come out in the summer, so... we'll see! (I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes too high!)
