WTH I thought I replied to this? Anyways when you said TKD I thought you meant TDK (The Dark Knight) Lol. Dyslexia at it's finest.

In any case, I quit going because it was getting expensive and my Master and I butted heads a lot because I'm just not a guy who likes rules and restrictions. I was getting into several forms of martial arts (Jeet Kune Do, Mantis, Drunken style) and I don't think he cared for that.

Yeah I totally understand. Going through the same thing at the moment, the head butting part. Im really enjoy jiu jitsu and I don't think my other instructor is liking that.

That's a good suggestion, but I often find it hard to be inspire to be abstract. My mind has become so inundated with symbols that beyond squiggly lines I don't think abstractly. Also I normally only draw my squiggly lines as a warm up or when I'm feeling uninspired. How does one set out to create an abstraction with meaning? Creatively this is the question that bars me from drawing abstractly.

Turn an actual object or thing into an abstract one. Like use something as an example then warp the hell out of it. Like an abstract apple or hand er something.
