Hello there!I have never been one of those people that has "one love"--the one hobby or sport or passion that consumes my entire being. I like to have my fingers in a little bit of everything, and I feel that that is reflected in my gallery: a little bit of traditional art, a little digital, a little poetry, a little prose, and even sometimes a little (terrible) photography.
Outside of the artistic world, I am a dog trainer by trade and a falconer outside of work. I love the natural world and the creatures in it, and I live in one of the best places on earth--Montana--and pull inspiration for my art and my writing from my experiences and the places I have visited. Please feel free to drop a note, leave a comment, ask for trades. I always look forward to hearing from people who love the same things I do!

Haha, yes he is. I'll have a red-tail this year but that was my kestrel. To answer your questions:
To get involved in falconry you have to find a sponsor who already has their license and is willing to take you as an apprentice. Then you have to pass a federal exam (pain in the ass), build a facilities that meets regulation, have it inspected and passed, and then trap your first bird from the wild. Be prepared to give up your social life from September to April and have anyone live with begin to bleach the microwave everytime they use it because you've been de-thawing mice and squirrels and quail in it and complain about the bird-poop stains in the carpet. You'll also have to watch your cat and dogs very closely and be prepared to cut up a lot of game or be able to stomach buying little pet shop bunnies for hawk food.
Totally worth it if you can do all that though.

But that's all right...I just don't draw quite the "popular" styles, I guess...I don't draw anime or goth/lolita or dark and brooding art...so it's not quite what draws the majority of peoples' attention, but that's fine. Well, the one on Neopets sort of died. I *think* I deleted it, but I really don't remember--it's been a long time since I've thought about that one. But, I have been planning on starting my own one, a new guild, for a long time. There isn't a site up yet, but I have all the dragon color pics and refs sitting on my room computer. They've been there for about a year, lol. But! When it's up and running, I'll send you the link, and you can check it. I don't expect you to join (you're a busy girl, as well as have a boyfriend) because of your busy schedual. But, you're welcome to drop in whenever! ^-^ I may need some of your help with questions, though, since I've only read 1 1/4 of a Dragonriders of Pern book.
