The man approached the chinese woman's door. He felt actually nervous, she'd always been a close friend of his yet their relationship was going a different road currently. It wasn't a bad feeling though he just wanted to see her badly with alot of stuff happening back at his home it was natural to seek comfort. He knocked thrice on her door waiting for her to open. With him he held a small package behind his back.

Chun-Yan had been kind of just pacing her house. She felt like something was off and she coulditn t quite find it. The day before some of her siblings were there before shed gotten home from a little job she had to do. Ever since then she could not figure out what was wrong, but she felt like everything was moved.
A knock at the door drew her out of her thoughts and shed quickly made her way to the front door. Once she opened it to see the other she got a huge grin on her face and she took a step back so he could come in if he wanted to "hello." Her voice was full of relief, she thought it might if been her boss with another load of things for her to do.. On her day off to. But she was wrong, and very happy at that.

It had been a long time since he had been free today was the day he'd gotten work off his hands to finally go visit his lovely neighbor. "May I come in?" he asked sweetly curving his lips into a smile. He was glad to see her happy and noticed how as if she was suddenly relieved. "You look like you were expecting someone else?"

Chun-Yan nodded "you may come in" her voice was still rather gentle. Well at the least he'd lightened her mood by a lot. She was more than happy to see him here.
"I thought you might if been my boss asking for me to work on my day off" she said laughing a little awkwardly, something she also tended to do a bit often. It did happen often that her boss came to her home and said she had to work, so it was a huge releife to her.
Shifting on her feet she clasped her hands together and grinned a bit more, she kind of felt like the Cheshire cat at the moment.

Chun-yan had kind of just sprawled out in the living room floor, staring up at the ceiling. She had finished the very last book of a series that she liked a lot and was kind of just rethinking life in general. Turning to her side she pressed her hands to her face and let out a small huff. Yep, now she knew how the humans felt when they talked about 'being in love with a book-'. She did int think that anyone could love a book, since a book did not have a heart. Well, it did in some sort of way, the writer was the heart right?
Peeking from her hands she saw that the door to the living-room was opened and she'd instantly turned the other way. Frustration was sill built up within her, how could a book end with the main character's death? that couldn't actually be the last. But it was, damn.

Somebody could say the same about a video game. Kiku was engrossed in the games story. He was playing it for hours on end, and nobody could stop him. He knew the other was busy with a book, and before he began this game, he was admittedly bored, but as soon as he got into this game, it was like he completely forgot about everybody's existence. He was almost finished - but that meant around two hours of the game was probably left. Unfortunately he missed the last save point, so Buddha forbid that something would happen to make this game crash or switch off ..Β
Yes, it happened that he ended up living with the other for a while now, but it was simply temporary. It started off as business terms but it grew slightly more friendly, which was actually a huge improvement, considering their current relations. Even Kiku began to approach her a bit less formally, but still as polite as ever. Doesn't make him forget about the past, which he disliked and regret the most, though.

After Chun-Yan was done with her little episode of wondering what was going on with life she pushed her self up from the ground and slipped around the house. The house had actually been rather quiet today, still something she was not used to. She was so used to small children being around, and well she actually missed having children around to be honest. It was something that was missing from her, being able to be the little tiger mother she is. Well even with her siblings she was a tiger mother since she had to raise them.
Sighing a little bit she continued to walk down the hall, she figured that she should see if Kiku was hungry, since she was and well she was willing to make something to eat for the both of them. She son came to the room he stayed in and knocked gently at his door as to see if he'd answer. Her brown eyes flickering around to watch for any sign of life at all- along with listening to the silence. Damn, the silence did realy get old and rather depressing.

Kiku didn't really hear the other knock on his door, after all he had head phones on, the dramatic music from the game playing in the incredibly dark room. Conveniently, in the game, somebody had knocked on a door as well, and seeing as the game was taking a frustrating amount of time to load to the next scene, he sighed at the game, muttering to himself " hai, hai .. come in - Β " without knowing Chun-Yan was outside. Well, at least it was loud enough for her to hear, but there was no guaranteeing that he'd be able to notice her afterwards. Usually he'd be attentive, but not during a game of this greatness.
Kiku should have been hungry - but the empty packets of mochi didn't really justify him.

Chun-Yan in fact heard him speak and slipped into his room without any hesitation. It was once she saw how dark it was and the light of the Tv that sh relisted he might have been talking to his game? but if he was talking to his game it was a convenience. "Are you hungry?" she asked gently, glancing to the screen of his tv. If he was not going to answer her he had somethings coming to him. Well nothing bad, more of her embarrassing the hell out of him, making him uncompterble....But she would only resort to that if she absalootly had to. Shifting a bit she took some time to actually glance around his room, it seemed a bit of a mess. When was the last time he'd cleaned it?
Sighing a little she let her eyes shift right back to the male, waiting for a response. If he didint see her, she thought to her self that scaring him might be the best rout to go. It would be rather fun- and worth getting hurt if that's what would happen.

" ... " yes, no response. All that could be heard was the faint muffled sounds coming from his head phones and the clicking of his controller, or maybe the faint sound or two coming from him. His eyes were completely fixated on the screen, the only thing reflected from them being the moving images from the game. Even his dog, Pochi, was curled by his side, looking up at the screen in slight boredom. He tried to nudge his owner, who was usually very respectful towards somebody's attention, but instead just moved away slightly, grumbling something about not making him lose his game in japanese.

Chun-Yan narrowed her eyes and sighed as she watched for a few more minuets. He did not notice her words, nor did he notice her witch was starting to get to her. Snorting a little bit she made her way behind where the male sat, and watched for a few seconds before her hands quickly grasped at his shoulders- she actually rely wanted to scare him at the moment.Β If this did not work she was actually going to be very dissapointed in her self, since she used to be able to scare the hell out of so many people. It used to give her heart a good feeling when it came to the fear of others, well when it was directed at her. But since she mellowed out it made her feel bad when others feared her. Though she still did strive to scare others for fun.

Ah, was it mentioned that this game had a horror aspect to it? Of course. Kiku loved nothing better than the thrill of getting jumpscared in a video game. Unfortunately for her, she just so happened to touch him as soon as a scary image popped up, so it made him jump, sure, but he thought that was all thanks to the screen in front of him. He smiled slightly, which was a rare sight on it's own, but he did think he was alone .. " ah .. how amusing .. " he muttered to himself, shifting forwards slightly, so the others hands weren't felt on his shoulders anymore. Looks like scaring him wouldn't cut it. If only he knew he was ignoring someone ! he'd feel incredibly bad.

Chun-Yan now pouted a bit her heart sinking a bit. Damn she couldn't scare him because of this damned game! Shifting a bit she tapped her chin and raised an eyebrow, ah if this was not going to work she would take his headsets off. Leaning forward she tried to grasp at them, but being the short little woman she was she fell on him and let out a long hiss. "This is your fault you little shit!" She yelped. She was actually rather embarrassed about her self. She had never even tripped once when she was trying to grab things. She usually hopped hung on to things and got it. But now shed done her self some bad and fall for the fist time since she was new- witch was a huge shock to her.

As soon as she fell on her he stumbled back slightly, the controller leaping out his hands and landing on the ground with a thud, earning an immediate game over. The music died down and he looked back at her, shocked .
" A-Ah .. China-San ?! " he stammered, his face going red . " N-Nani , what aβ " his eyes widened, and his expression immediately changed . " .... Sumimasen .. I don't believe I heard you correctly . " he said, leaning backwards, really surprised and unamused by the insult . He hated indecent language, he'd never tolerate it .

Chun-Yan gave him a rather unamused look her self. Her eyes narrowing at him "do not give me that, I have been trying to get your attention for a while. Do you know how frustrating that is?! All I wanted to do was see if you were hungry because it's late, and you were playing that game non stop. Are you trying to starve your self?" She sort of hissed at him. While he may not have been happy with her now, she didint mean to insult him. Hell it was hardly even an insult, she could have done so much worse.
Shed simply hopped up and crossed her arms over her chest. She did feel a little bad about calling him a lil shit, but in all honestly she called almost everyone that. Mostly mister America, and Hong Kong. But those words had slipped and she couldn't change them.

" .. i suppose it's rather frustrating. " he said, standing, brushing himself off. He opened the curtains to let out some light in the dark room, and threw the empty packets away in silence. He switched the console off, much to his dismay and sighed. " China-san, i've eaten breakfast, so i'm not starving myself in the slightest. Perhaps i was a little hungry, and I'd like to thank you for your consideration - " he said, before turning to her, giving her a rather stern look. " - but please refrain from insulting me, hai? I simply couldn't hear you because of my head phones. Perhaps if you had stood in front of me then I would have noticed you quicker. " he said, shaking his head with another sigh. " My, patience is a virtue. " he held his hand out, bowing slightly. " Hopefully we're able to put this situation behind us. Gomen. " he apologised.Β

Chun-Yan sighed and closed her eyes for a second. "I am sorry as well. Honestly, I did not mean to let those words slip my lips. They were a mindless talk" she replied, letting a small sigh out. "I did not mean that as an Insult.." She spoke again, this time a little lower. She actually embarrassed her self a little bit.
"Anyways...would you like me to make you something?" She asked lowly since that's what she came into his room to ask of him in the first place. Honestly, she did want to put the situation behind so she was trying to move on as quick as she could with this.

Chun-Yan had been reading a book upon some demon hunters that had caught her eye. It was actually rather interesting and her mind was very enticed by the whole idea of it. That was until her pant leg was tugged and she raised an eyebrow, looking up from her book to find Japan with fox ears. Her eyes lit up and she set the book down "what happened to you?" she spoke threw her thick accent reaching out to touch the others ears. She was actually rather worried as much as she was wondering about this.

"I dunno..." He whimpered, quite frightened himself. His ears twitched as the other's hand approached them. His look of worry became even more discomforted. "I-I don't know what's happening...It's scary...."

Chun-Yan frowned and pulled the other into her arms. Though small and frail looking she could hold on rather tight, and it would be rather hard to get her to let go. "Everything is going to be alright" she replied calmly, though her heart was pounding at her chest like a bomb ready to go off. Though not much she could do about this, there was other things she could try. She could try and talk to Arthur and see if he could fix anything. That was if he was around to talk.
