Hey, good to talk to you again! Working with you was no trouble at all, I'm just happy I could make something you liked.

The canine was an old character; I never really used her again after that, since she doesn't have a fleshed-out setting. I'm not sure how much you keep up with my art (it's totally fine if you don't) but my most recent project has been laying out the groundwork for a sci-fi story I've been sitting on for a few years. I would love to get it started in webcomic format by the end of the year, if you're at all curious.

Sci-fi furry stories are the bestest ;3 Beats the pants off fantasy, not that fantasy often wears pants. /random What species will be featuring? Is it going to center around a few specific types of anthro or will it be multi-race? The best sci-fi furry things I've encountered tend to be very limited in the amount of races involved.

I'm glad to hear a bit of reassurance. I had kept your AIM on my list for a while after that and nevvvvvver heard a reply when messaging. I guess it was just technical problems? But I would certainly enjoy a reapproach towards another comic if you end up with some free time. I consider you one of the few artists where I know I'll like the results. ^_~

Aww, you flatter me so!

I've got almost all the story worked out, and it will feature humans plus five other species I made up, some weirder than others. I have yet to put together and release my most updated character and setting information, but the one best thing I have right now is a character ref I made a couple of weeks back: [link] . Hopefully I will complete the rest of the refs soon; there's an even dozen of main characters. I'm very glad the story interests you!

Classes have started a while ago

I'm still looking for more works to earn enough as an investment to a certain con called "Oh No Manga! Camp 2" here at PH on July 7. I tried looking for a job back at high school and I failed to find one that will match my schedule and haha.

Btw, what's your dream job or at least the kind of job you want for now?

Good luck! I've never been to a con before, so have fun for me!

My dream job would be to get into animation or game design. There are a few schools I know of that offer animation or gaming programs, though whether I'll be able to afford them is another matter entirely, haha. Until then, I'd be happy to be a programmer/developer; I snagged a web development job for a while recently, but they ran out of work for me. Oh well. Then again, things have come up recently in my life that just might set me on the track to making money as a manga writer/illustrator, which has nothing to do with computers but sounds amazing. Go figure.

How about you? Do you have a dream job?

I have no plans in pursuing a career on IT but I find it useful in systematizing myself so my dream job has nothing to do with IT. let's say it's my back-up job?

My dream is to freelance all the way to the top by being a mangaka/illustrator then I'll connect people to their dreams especially those who are incapable of pursuing it.

I also want to work with Pixar. That is my other dream

...I think our goals are similar though I don't know if you want to work under Pixar

Oh, very nice! It's quite fluid and keeps all the mood of the original. Good work!

I have a couple of small word choice suggestions:

1. In the seventh paragraph, where it says "Once he and Jamka took care of things," you translated it as "Una vez que..." Since I'm not a native Spanish speaker, I'm not positive, but this may be the wrong interpretation of the word "once." Here I'm using it to mean "as soon as," or "así que"/"tan pronto como" (whichever of those two is more natural )

2. Same paragraph. Here, "as he shrugged off his cape and coat" became "mientras se quitaba su capa y camisa." When I see "se quitaba su camisa" I think he's stripping. I'd recommend using "abrigo," as you did near the end of the story.

That's all I could find, otherwise it's very smooth. Great work, and a very great thank you; I'm flattered.

Well, as you know, my English is bad, so the word "once" I understand as "una vez que" but your suggestion "tan pronto como" has the same sense as "una vez que" in Spanish (in this language, there are many words for one only thing), and you're right, "tan pronto como" sounds more natural... but I tell you, when I'm translating from English to Spanish, I use the word I know best (the same when I'm translating from Spanish to English LOL)


oh okay! xDDD in Spanish, "camisa" is not just some undergarment, or a garment with short sleeves... and well, at least in Mexico, Sigurd's upper garment, we know as "camisa" because we know as "abrigo" the garment that is used when it's really cold (and I don't suppose that Sigurd doesn't feel cold all the time hehehe if that were the case... poor guy, right?) and now you mention it, I shouldn't have used the word "abrigo" but "camisa" at the end... the consequences of my basic-poor English C:

Doing all right. Powered through an essay on Saturday so I feel a lot better now that's over with.
