You have some nice macro's in your gallery. If I find the time (that prob won't be for the next 6 weeks), I'm gonna try out some floral shots in the beautiful city garden they have here.

thanks, too ^^ I love flowers (obviously, from the number of them in my gallery) I think they have some much individuality and color. I've gotten addicted to finding as many different types as I can and trying to find the details in them that make them more than meets the eye at first glance. I love trees maybe even more then flowers, although I'm undecided on that one. Trees seem to have such a history in them....

great ^^ and I love trees too. We had planted almost 20 trees around the house. Many are conifers and I just love them. The spider picture I took has the tips of one of the Hollywood juniper in it. they're so colorful.

I'm an enormous fan of wisteria (don't know plain english term, we call it "blauwe regen" as in "blue rain"), and of the japanese (red) maple tree (especially when it grows as 'if the wind never turned'.
The colors in both trees are magnificent and with wisteria in particular, when it has no flowers it's still a mighty sight.
I also love orchids, very special flowers (I have one macro pic in my gallery, should do some more, and I'm a big fan of lilies as well.

Wisteria are really pretty and I have seen some growing locally, but not to close to the water here where I live. Mainly in town.
Some people down the street have Japanese red cut leaf maple trees in their garden. They're really neat looking and I was thinking about how to photograph it, but I haven't come up with a good idea yet. It's one of the very small varieties which I think would look good iwth the sun hitting it. but I've yet to come across it at the right time and with the right vision in mind.
I saw your orchid picture, it's really beautiful. Great work there. They are wonderful flowers, but so rare here that I doubt I'll ever get to photograph one. Lilies are a little more common, but there aren't too many varieties available to me. Now I've been thinking about planting flowers next year. I usually just plant vegetables hehe.
