It's been raining and snowing here all day, now that it's getting colder everything is freezing. Large mammals come with a price

I guess it's easy for me to sound enthusiastic about your weather when I haven't tried it...
Maybe not complete house swap... when the global recession stops we'll swap for your winter and my summer...
Hopefully by the time it does stop all the large mammals won't be extinct.
If you're a birdwatcher or don't like poisonous/dangerous animals (apart from wild boar and seals)
then New Zealand is for you!
However if you love snakes, spiders, and things with big teeth then New Zealand can be a very boring place animal wise.
One day I'll backpack the sates of America and see for myself (a bit like the guy in: Into The Wild.).

I recently started inadvertantly breeding okatee cornsnakes.
I decided "never again" and was given a snow and amelanistic morph... it's very tempting
