I think so. But I wouldn't have improved so much without DA, seeing all the feedback made me want to do more art. Plus having access to all the different styles that people have provided lots of inspiration and made me want to try new materials.

this year happened to be my last year of high school. (so glad i don't have to go to that hellhole anymore ahah)

I did it in pretty much every class. I used to always get caught in form (it's like a group we got put into for morning registration in high school) I used to get told off for it even though it was for ten minutes in the morning and I had no friends whatsoever to talk to. I hated it because it's like "so I can't talk to any friends because I have none but you won't let me entertain myself by doodling on some scrap paper for ten minutes when we aren't doing anything else?" so stupid.

probably cause my registration class was the same as my French class x'D
you always get that one teacher who also disrupts the class every 5 mins cause there's some person in the back of the class who won't shut up lol.
so me and my pals would start shrugging and started to draw a little bit during class.
like seriously though, some teachers would practically give 10 min worth of the same lectures each day. Think that's why some people took the piss out of her. I still feel kinda bad for her to this day lol.

Our computing teacher got such a bad hand for classes.Β
He taught my class which had a few people in it thatΒ
would sit quietly and do the work and never cause a problem.
Then there was the rest of them who would constantly disrupt theΒ
entire lesson. Then he'd give us a lecture about it and the people
who actually wanted to do the stuff would be sat there likeΒ Β Β
because it took like fifteen minutes out of a 1 hour lesson which weΒ
could have used to do work. This happened more than once and that isΒ
what was so frustrating.

True. This is why I mainly hated being in school. There's always someone who has to ruin it xD
and this happened often at our school.
Had such a chatty mathematics teacher that she'd give a 5 min lesson then talk to a certain group for the rest of the period. And it always seemed to be the popular kids table. Feels shitty when you can't get any support even when it's from your own teachers ._.

Yeah my art teacher was like that.Β She would sit and
gossip with the popular kidsΒ during class then make it seem likeΒ
anyone who asked for help was just an inconvenience.
I don't know if you studied art at all but if you did you'll
know that you have to do a really long exam.
Apparently we used to be able to listen to music and chat
and eat and stuff because it was an art exam so all you
did was paint or draw or whatever. But some guy cheated
somehow and now we can't do that anymore.
It really goes to show that some people are just selfish and
have to ruin it for others. It winds me up because,
sure, not everyone was a fantastic artist but they didn't
have to cheat to do their art so why did he?
I hope he failed his exam XDΒ
