I prefer like suggestiveness (like lifting skirts or unbuttoning clothes) than plain nude, adds more charm to the character than making them look like nudist (im not here to make money)

Sorry but I'm more of mainly anime-like-Japanese style, you know the big eyes and invisible nose type drawing, Artgerm is western so I'm not really keen on those kind of work. I really really reeeeeeaaaaally dislike that style, sorry for sounding like an ass or mock your fav artist even probably, but not sorry, haha....

Thank you! Well, I did create some 'pattern' so I get a unique coloring style. I am gonna go with semi-painted style coloring. But still practicing for it for now. How about you? Do you find some style that you want to learn as well?

My style? hmm, well mine is pretty basic water brushing. My style is always light outlines then colour, shadow and lighting, thats pretty much it. I want to change it so that it doesnt look "fresh" like yours doesn't. I'm still learning as well :] for the moment, im learning how to colour hairs, its pretty difficult to achieve that glossy effect like in your commission for kazumi mai

I see. I'm still learning as well. Sometimes I think that my art is not worth to be shared LOL Well, for coloring I learn it from realism and painting little by little. And I learned Light and Shadow Family. My Hair coloring is an example of that. The glossy effect is achieved because I add highlight and reflecting light. And its the same with other coloring. And I like to add cool color to warm colors. I like cool-warm contrast the best LOL

yeah some of us feel the same way as well at any point in our lifes, sometimes i think some of my DA followers felt obligated to favourite my work, same is in my pixiv account which to be honest mostly are non artist followers, to me felt a bit disappointing (not to  mention only proly 5 percent of them are actually active followers(but im happy otherwise)). SO yeah were kinda on the same boat but in different waters. but occasionally i do get proper good feedback from them and its very encouraging. 

anywayy, so you do add effects after your work or to your layers perhaps, because what I usually do is just stick to a few tricks and thats it, ive try to broaden my styling and utilize most of the features in SAI and PS but sometimes i just couldnt get used to the new technique, felt odd. or perhaps im plain lazy  ( ´ ▽ ` )

and yeah changing the temperature does help a lot in drawings, puts more emotion to it because usually our initial coloring can be quite too dull. I like luminescence and orton effect but i dont know when to use it

Yep, I agree. Sometimes I feel like that too. But, I'm happy enough for now that I can befriends a lot of people (some artists too) and even they give me great feedback. Its a lot fun that I can chat with them about arts and trivia things LOL

nope. tbh I'm more traditional even I use digital software for drawing LOL I rarely using effect layers or mode. I just pick color with my own discretion. play on it and decide which color will be the best for the art. But, I occasionally use color balance to shift the colors to what I want them to be.

Yeah, there are other color contrasts too but cool-warm is my personal favorite for now xD

Well, for me if I lack inspirations to draw, I always see may friends arts or pro artist arts. Seeing a lot of great arts always motivate me to draw again. Hope you find inspirations soon enough
