Luckily for you, I'm not only swedish but also a translator wannabe.

Byssan lull is a swedish lullaby, correct. The words themselves don't actually mean anything, as far as I know. It's possible that they're old, forgotten words, but it's probably just nonsense that's made up to make it rhyme.
The song itself is one of my favorites, though. Here, I'll translate the first verse for you (the only one I know the lyrics of, really):

Byssan lull, boil the kettle full
three wanderers are coming down the road
Byssan lull, boil the kettle full
three wanderers are coming down the road
The first is so lame [i.e. he's limbing]
The second is so blind
and the third one has tattered clothing

Ha, very cool. I just got the game Lucidity on Steam recently, and the title theme is a version of Byssan Lull sung by Lisa Eriksson. I really loved the song so I just did some research on it, but I couldn't find a translation of the actual name of the song, just the lyrics. So yeah, thanks for the info!

Not sure if you need it or not, but this is pretty much the griffin design I had in mind. More or less, the "real" griffins in Podsol are more reptilian and only four limbs, not six, but real-life heraldy always played loose with biological accuracy too. Even if you don't use this stock (if you have a better idea, I encourage you to do it your way instead.) the rest of that site has some useful "clip-art" and letters and stuff.
