Yea, thinking about making some of my characters into 3d forms.
I'm slow at modeling and hate rigging! Samanya would look best with Zbrush
and 3D max blend! Although I've not used Zbrush yet!

I'd say all together about 4-5 years? More recently though I've gotten really into it like 2 years ago and then when I actually started advancing. How about you?

for me its been playing with modelling for 2-3 years at uni, but only about 1 year of 3dsmax so far for me.
learnt the awarkward way of zbrush first, then trying to do low poly and uv mapping etc. problem is i have to keep throwing away my old models really as i get better. im jealus you started at young age tho

I always say it's never too late to get started, as you're proving right now. You're doin pretty good for only 2-3 years man, keep it up. You got any plans for entering the game industry anytime soon?

im trying, but the jobs have just dried up here, and the only ones left are "lead" positions that require a few shipped "aaa" rated game under your belt already.

will do, its really weird over here how all the jobs for environment artists has suddenly just vanished within couple of months. i guess its due to production cycles, or bad quaterly results.

Haha nah, no lies! I spose I AM my own worst critic when it comes to these things..
But yeah. I've always had a thing for well, doing multiple things. And trying to learn as much as I can, not all at the same time though. Sometimes I think it makes me learn slower, and sometimes I think that's why I really can't stick to one particular style/art form. But eh. I digress. I always enjoy other people's art more than mine

You can easily get here right next to me and go beyond man, its not a matter of skill or talent or luck, its just a matter of time. Noone gets good at anything without practice. You practice harder than me, youll go past me. You can do it just put in the time.
