on Writing Tips for Fanfiction WritingHi everyone ,
Just wanted to share with you some tips I wrote up a few years back for my Fanfiction.net profile here.
That I hope are useful for any who writes fanfiction, whether you have only just begun, been thinking of taking it up or have been doing it for years.
These are merely my own thoughts on the matters covered below and not rules to follow .
Be warned, I cover a fair bit in this post. So if you are looking for a quick read. then this likely isn't for you.

Tips on fanfic writing
One- This is one I still struggle at even today despite having written for about 6 years now, make sure you get spelling and grammar right in your work, even if your story and characters are done well. If the grammar and spelling is way off, it puts people off your fic, so get it right even in the summary. Basic stuff, but yet so easy as I found the hard way to get Β 


I hope the tips will be of great use to you in your writing endeavours.

Carnal KnowledgeI wore the same black tank top every time.
It stretched. It was comfortable and revealing. It curved against my body and my chest. They all loved it when I wore the same black tank top. Every time.
The first tryst with him I wore it. We met in hyperspace. He was mellow and relaxed. I was sexual and tempting. He would ask for more than I wanted to show, but never forced it. And what he showed me was enough to make me go.
But he wasn't the first.
He lived alone and was self-sustaining. It was the middle of the night and I was desperate for a distraction. So was he. He did not believe it, but he was beautiful.
He was broken in all the same places. Instead of fixing them we connected our broken parts. We talked about our last loves and how they left us half of ourselves. He still loved her and I still loved him. So we touched.
It was small at first. He brushed his fingers on my cheek and I pressed my hand on his thigh. We grew closer - nervous, but longing. I noticed how bright his

I think the theme is cool! XD The prompt is pretty general and broad enough to inspire people.
I'm just not sure whether it should be a requirement for everyone to contribute, since it could be that people are simply in the group to see more works, or that some people may be too busy to write something.

Thank you so much! I know that my works go on, often for more than one page, but I find that I must write my emotional and artistic truth.

I only just met with the object of my affections yesterday. I thought that I'd moved past it, but I still love him. I want him to be happy, even if that happiness doesn't include me.

Thank you so much! I don't see myself as especially mature, but I suppose that I am with how I'm handling my feelings for my friend. I want him to be happy.

I've never experienced anything like that with women, but I can relate to that pain that the one for whom I burn doesn't know of my feelings and/or doesn't return them.
