I am an artist, crafter and taxidermist living in rural Wales!I hold art degrees within animation and animal science. I am also experienced in animal husbandry, breeding, exotics, behavior and anatomy/physiology.

Quick question though about the fox cub, the leather is very greasy do you know if there is anything I can do to degrease it a bit? I was thinking of soaking in soapy water like the way some skins are degreased before tanning but would the leather hold up if it was wetted do you think? Sometimes leather tears when rehydrated if the tan is old or the leather weak D:

Taxidermy and animal welfare??? that's something to laugh about, animals have the same color blood as us, they have personalities and when hurt feel pain-like us. do you not think their bodies should be laid to rest when dead or do you just see animals as a gateway to some disgusting business/sales technique?Β
