# About me

I am largely a self taught artist, practicing and producing since 2005. Originally focusing solely on pencil drawings, in 2017 I began taking a few painting classes and have really been excited by this new medium. This year I am putting new focus on getting my art out of my studio and into the larger world.

My focus has also shifted a bit. Birthed in my more youthful days, my focus was largely on surreal/trippy/internal visions and hallucinations. Now, my art tends to be more inspired by the natural world and moments that catch my eye.

Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and I paint or draw nearly every day.

I was in France and then Italy up until yesterday!! It was part of a school trip.
