Yeah I havent been takign many pictures recently either, Nothing new is catchign my eyes same old muskegon... I might be coming New years depending on funds. Great photos man I love them and the work youve been doing is unbelievable your very talented. Hope to see you soon

Hello Hello... It's been awhile... I've been very busy. I'm moving to Chicago in about a month so I've been getting ready... registering for classes, orientation, looking for places to live, applying for loans, still dealing with my legal troubles, working two jobs, and trying to find time to be creative... you know how it goes...

Your most recent poem is amazing and a perfect companion piece for the photo. Great job!

Words cannot describe Uelsmann's work. The first time I saw it, I was absolutely positive that he was using digital photomanip techniques, then my friend gave me a book... He's been undisputed champion ever since!

Heh, i just didn't believe it. He's had no computer.... only an elaborate enlarger set up and a darkroom!

I don't know how he does it. Dead leafs floating in mid-air. Trees growing out of the ground with roots. Trees floating around in the air with roots exposed (if you know which I speak of... the roots are actually one of the trees off in the background in the sky turned upside down!).

It's pretty damn amazing.

I know that he uses elaborate multiple enlarger setups, but that's about all I know. I got inot the darkroom at my college and tried to duplicate some of his techniques with no avail. He is the darkroom master. Maybe someday....

Anyway, it's good to see that some people still keep it real with film. Anybody can produce attractive prints with a little help from the vast world of digital technology. Convenience is one thing, but true art is a whole 'nother world. keep up the good work!
