☆Appearance☆
England has messy, short blond hair and green eyes. According to France, he's rather slender. He dresses in a green military uniform, although Himaruya has stated that he dresses smart casual most of the time, and like a punk when he's out for fun. His eyebrows are very thick and prominent, despite that he apparently trims them. They are a trait that is shared by his younger brother Sealand, as well as Australia, Hong Kong, Wy, and India. He also happens to be the same height as France.
☆Personality and Interests☆
England is a fanciful, blunt, obstinate former pirate who used to torment Spain. In modern times he claims to be a gentleman, however he is cynical, sharp-tongued, prone to rough speech and yearns for the golden years. He often uses British vocabulary, such as 'bloody' and 'git'. He is noted for being horrible at cooking which has caused America, his former charge, to have "bad" taste in food. England is also, apparently, the "king of losing things", and France has described him as "somehow extremely useless when it comes to matters not pertaining to himself or America". He can be described as "spacey" because of his strong belief in magic, spirits, fairies, and various other fantasy-related creatures. He has the ability to communicate with supernatural beings, and is not limited to creatures from his homeland, being able to interact with various youkai and spirits from Japanese folklore. He also happens to have fantasy friends, such as a flying bunny, unicorns, fairies, gnomes, and Captain Hook, but oddly enough he did not believe in Santa Claus until Finland came a brought them present. Despite this, England often ridicules America's belief in aliens and Tony. According to the author's notes, England's interests include: embroidery, craftsmanship, literature, rock music, and giving scathing criticisms to America's movies.
He does not know how to express himself, leading to others often misunderstanding him. He is also depicted as being self-deprecating or tsundere. Despite his cynical, realistic view on the world, he is said to be a romanticist. When drunk, his personality will change from that of a gentleman to a bitter and violent delinquent. Also, every year when the Fourth of July comes around, his condition collapses.

According to a blog post, the island nation and former pirate may not be able to swim. This would be a reference to English people in movies, and possibly to that, historically, many pirates could not swim.
It has been mentioned that England has brothers, one representing Scotland, and the others presumably Wales and Northern Ireland, who hate him and used to drive him away with stones and arrows when he was a child, and even went as far as to mail him curses.

Alrighty! Well, she has long brown hair, almost always tied up in a ponytail. She wears a dark red Harvard sweatshirt, grey sweat pants and a pair of sneakers. She's not afraid to state her opinion because of an election one year where Massachusetts was the ONLY state that remained Democrat. She's also very sarcastic and has a bad temper, which makes very few people like her. She hates France with a passion. (Mostly because of the constant flirting) And she is the second oldest state, next to Virginia. At world meetings, Katherine is constantly ignored due to her being only a state. No one thinks that she understands what being a country is like, but having the 2nd greatest eructation in the WORLD, she knows pretty much everything there is to being a state. Katherine isn't one to smile. She'll only smile for England, who she's had a crush on since she was a teenager. (In human years, she's a college student attending Harvard.) Because of the heartbreak America caused England when he became independent, she's made a vow to stay by England's side, while also being a part of America. She doesn't want to admit it, but she enjoys making people happy.

England. Oh how Allistor despised the place. It's not like he hated it, he just wished he wasn't a part of it and was just his own free country. But he had came to see his 'brother', it wouldn't hurt to come over and hang out for a big would it? Though of course it had to start raining when he walked over, so the Scott was walking to the Englishmen's house in the rain. Finally he reached it and knocked on the door, then waited for an answer. Until then he was sitting there in the rain.

Cold. That's how it always was on lonely black nights such as this. It was December 22nd, and yet another cold snow filled night. Ivana had just left her workplace about an hour ago, and she was completely and utterly lost in the dense forest. The moon's light shined down upon her hair as she adjusted the pink ushanka on her head, her violet eyes filled with hoping "I do hope I get home soon..." Trees rustled as she continued to wander, the forest size making it difficult to navigate for humans like her

Arthur smiled. Is prey approaching. Everything was perfect for a split second. Then it ran. He growled under his breath, the deer scattered away into the night. His blood-thirsty eyes watched the world go by as he listened for the cause of his dinner leaving. Her hair shinned silver under the moon, her eyes glimmering. A grin was plastered on his face as he stepped out into her view. "May I help you, love? Are you lost?" His smile grew bigger within each passing second.

She paused and looked at the mysterious man before her. No doubt an Englishman judging by his accent, but his eyes seemed to hypnotize her for a second before she finally spoke "Oh Privyet! Da, I've been trying to find my way home for hour now but I think I've just been wandering in circles....you could help me find my way. Da?" Her violet eyes glimmered in hope, praying he would be some kind of guide. If only she knew what he really was

The only reason she was lost in the woods was because she had lost her sense of direction for a moment "Uhm.." she then looked past him, recognizing the path "Da, that way." She pointed past him.
