I was wondering how you did the red gems for ravens belt? it looks perfect! I am desperate and need to finish in a few days and this is where im stuck!

They are made with polyester resin, dyed red, and poured into molds. I then covered the backs with some red foil. I got everything from Micheal's including the mold(which were chocolate molds). It's not cheap though, so be prepared to spend about $50 on everything you'll need if you go about it this way. Most of it is a one time expense as the catalyst, dyes, mold release, molds, and foil packages should last you a very long time, however a bottle of resin costs around $30 usually. It's not quite so bad when you just have to buy the resin itself. Also, resin doesn't last more than a couple months after opening it if you want to make anything red with it, so buy small bottles of it.
