Aha, this was a sprite based off a realistic Jigglypuff in a book I own. I was actually about to update to a better looking Jigglypuff sprite, as Ditto is surprisingly tricky to get to look right.

It's been awhile-
I know that the forum was taken down due to lack of activity, but we should consider the Monster Party project cancelled. For good reason though; I dunno if you heard, but a second prototype cartridge has been found, bought, and will be released within the year.

AH the inevitable. I'm so sorry for totally forgetting the forums for such a long time... it's just SSF2 has been my main project for the longest time, and I guess I just forgot about the Monster Party restoration forums.
However, did I tell you I got in contact with the Bandai copywrites owners asking about the rights for Monster Party?

It really didn't bare fruits though, as they said they weren't interested in third party people making games for it.

BUT we should still be friends, simply to keep our similar interest of Monster arty alive. Are we pals on Skype? Do you still like to sprite?

Would you be interested in joining Mcleodgaming perhaps?

Also, do you have a link to this new prototype?

Ahh anywho, it was a good run, and we found some fun things! let's see how much of our discovery was true, and how much was speculation.

This is the link to the forum that has the cartridge right now. They intend to release the ROM sometimes soon it seems like, and they're going to distribute reproduction cartridges to those who requested one too. In regards to the unused content we found though, it would be interesting to see if it's in the prototype. That would tell if it was cut after or between localization.
