MY EXCUSE? Uhhhhh... bad memory, and I forget why else XD also life has habit of getting distracting. For instance, I was planning to stay home and write some stuff last week, yet ended up spending a few days with my brother in Burlingame and then the weekend at my friends house. Life is whacky.

SERIOUSLY, my long and varied life can attest to that. Hit by 5 cars, stabbed 5 times, shot once (doesn't count, technically, vest), run over by a washing machine falling off a roof, various rollings down hills, falling out of trees, the list goes on and on. Not a single broken bone. I must be made out of some kinda magic.

Graduated high school, going to community college, trying to live outside of my parents house. Normal life.
Although I've been trying to get back into drawring as a hobby.

Right on! I graduated too, haha, went for a semester to a community college as well, got REALLY fed up with the school system, so I plan on going into the air force for a while. Other than that, a family member and a couple friends passed away, trying to work on my drawings as well, doing projects around the house (built a flower planter out my window, it's awesome heheh).
Other than that, not much. :3

Aww, I think I disappear'd about the start of the graduation and loved ones passing away part. I vaguely remember it. Much belated condolences.
Also, I understand the being fed up with school thing. There's been more than one occasion where I've doubted the school system. But I've had enough good teachers to keep me going.

Yeah, I hear that, good teachers make up for a lot of it. But for me, I think maybe I just need to get out and live a little bit, there's nothing doing here in the the tri-city area, just the same old shit. Growing experiences, that's what I need haha.

[link] Other than that my gallery has been growing in fitful little bursts haha (89 all at once a few months ago heh, much to my GF's chagrin lol) I made the planter out of scraps from a lean-to my brother and I took apart to make room for some renovations in our back yard. Then I painted it and such, turned out pretty nice. Only difference between then and now is the mint plant kinda died, though sprouts are coming up now. I replaced it with a Peppermint plant in the meantime.

I understand that too. I've got a friend who was pretty much at a point of graduate early or drop out. He graduated, went to Europe for five months, came back and proceeded to look for farms to work at in Hawaii. That's where he is now and he's contemplating whether or not he should go back to school after all his travelling.
I'm a little more patient, but I don't know how much more schooling bullshit I can handle after I get my associates...
Aww, I wish I could make something like that for plants. Hell, I wish I could even keep a plant ALIVE. But of course, everything dies here lol

There's a limit to how much anyone can take from the system, and sometimes you just plain get tired of school, which in itself is pretty reasonable. School is like work that YOU pay for, or that's what it seems like most of the time.
Oh, dude, taking care of plants is pretty easy. The only two major things you should worry about at first is making sure they get enough water, and making sure they get the proper amount of sunlight. For instance, I've got trays under my pots to catch all the water that goes through them, because water will run right through a pot and out the bottom, so you have to catch it and let it soak back in on its own. All the plants I have like that are doing MUCH better than the ones that don't. Sunlight, sometimes plants can't take a lot of it. For instance my mint plant, I missed watering it once and it died almost instantly, it was just getting way too much sun and not enough water (needed a bigger pot, too, that may have had something to do with it...) Plants with stiffer leaves tend to do alright with more sun, and most plants need at least 2 hrs, but a lot of softer plants cant deal with a lot of sun. Roughly 6 hours is really good for a lot of plants, so giving them some shade for portions of the day is ok.

And yeeaaahh...Our house is a house that's usually in the dark, and the outside world is pure sunlight during the day. I had an indoor plant that I kept under a lamp atop the fridge, but I got to a point where I struggled so badly with classes that I ended up forgetting to water the poor thing. So...it died. A slow and painful one :\
