Thanks a million! That really does mean a lot to me!
I didn't know anyone really appreciated things I make! Haha!
Uh, well, I guess I should say that you look like you excel in places I don't!
Like, you're really good at digital art and color. I want to get better at that kind of thing, but it's not something I've been able to grasp.
Don't be hard on yourself! You're good!
Also, thanks again!

Ahahah thanks! I've actually been wanting to get into environmental art for some time but I never got my lazy butt around to doing studies until pretty recently actually! Even now I feel like I'm an infant when it comes to anything environment but yeah I LOVE colours hahahah

Β Yeah, wanting to get into it is the same spot I'm at.
I WANT to get into it, but I just cannot for some reason. Be it procrastination or just lack of resources.
I really have no clue where to start, haha.

Recently I've just been winging it between one and two-point perspective.
Just trying to see what looks right, or whatever.
I've impressed myself so far, but I'm undoubtedly worse than I want to be!

Haha. I think Autodesk Sketchbook has a really neat tool for perspective drawing so you might want to look into that if you wanna do perspective. I find doing perspective digitally (and properly with the vanishing points and all) to be a pain!

Eiko-Aegeana In reply to dot-nova [2015-11-11 02:55:52 +0000 UTC]
I took your advice and messed around with Sketchbook on my school's computer.
I think I'll actually take my drawing tablet to school sometimes and see what I can muster up. Recently, though, I've been practicing perspective on physical paper. It's not a secret, and I think I've said it before; I am not nearly as good with digital art.

Ahhh I see. Well, there's nothing you can do but improve so if you wanna get into digital art you should just jump into it (traditional art is way outta my comfort zone lol)

Eiko-Aegeana In reply to NeyoWargear [2015-08-29 18:01:02 +0000 UTC]
I'm a little late on the reply, but sure!
First I have to explain what a 'minostra' is.
A minostra is essentially a form of life that has no specific shape or color, so, commonly, they take on a gaseous structure. However, they have the ability to take on weak solid forms as well, such as a block or a sphere or any other solid object you can think of. Each minostra also seems to have a unique personality.
Minostra can possess -- for lack of a better word -- any inanimate object it wishes as a body, by forcing it's own molecules between the molecules of the selected object, sort of like a hand inside a sock puppet. This also applies to animals and people, but more on a companion basis. A minostra can live inside a person, acting as an extension of his/her own body.Β People with minostra are considered to be on a similar thinking pattern as the minostra, be it positive or negative, as that allows them to be in harmony with it. Aggressive wild animals with minostra are considered extremely dangerous, as they have higher capabilities than that of a normal animal.
People do not know much about minostra, but there was once a man who studied them intensively. Through unknown means, he was able to create dolls that minostra would willingly select as their bodies. Ten-Ten is one of the products of that man's studies. A doll inhabited by a red minostra.
