Lengthy process of different layers, base colouring,ย re/colouring,ย re/painting,ย re/shading,ย re/smoothing, re/sharpening,ย with added effects overlay editing, re/cloning, using different brushes & colour-editing, & re/cloning.ย It just takes time. The '3D' effect e.g., is easily achieved by simply sharpening a painted-in area, re-smoothing/painting over it &/or newly applying/equalising colours, & resharpening.ย
