So sorry to bother you. Just running around the internet trying to figure out how to put together a good Death the Kid cosplay outfit for an upcoming con. Going as gender swapped Kid, Liz and Patty with my friends you see. But I'm rambling. Sorry. I tend to do that.
Anyway, you gave some excellent sounding advice on a Cosplay.com form regarding this, coupled with a link to your example. You don't have that deviation up anymore, but I was wondering if I could still take a look at it.

There is the picture of my finished jacket! Now that Ilook back on it there is a lot I could have changed! (Mainly making the craftfoam rectangles symmetrical; I freehanded all of it!) So my advise would be to use fabric glue instead of the tacky glue I used (You can actually see some of the glue seeping out in that pic haha! It dries clear though!) and to use a stencil to ensure that you get 100% symmetrical rectangles! Also really promoting the use of velcro! If you have any more questions regarding anything that has to do with Kid's cosplay; feel free to ask!
