I work at a camera store. It makes it much less pricey. The pay is poor, but the money you save is great. The 4x5 isn't mine, but I have unlimited borrowing power.

Pentax has really great DSLRs, K100 and K10. You can use any pentax lens on it too.

Hee hee... There's nothing digital about this camera. All that there is, is a little timy battery that tells me whether or not there's too much or not enough light. Also, there are no lenses that I can borrow from the school, which is my only means of surviving Basic Photo. ( =^D))

At least your school provides them. I already had a camera that I bought in HS when I started college, but those who didn't had to go out and spend over $100 and buy one. Of course, my school does have other cameras to borrow, just not 35mm.
