# About me

My real name is Derek, but my little cousins couldn't figure out how to pronounce my name and called me Durek for so long I adopted it.
I'm a writer with too many projects and I write too damn much. I'm not like most artists who complain about never having time, I make the damn time. I plan, start, and complete books before most people finish semesters. I'm working on getting published and by god some day I will be.
I feel to truly know something you have to go do it. I'm only 23 but I've been around the world and done a lot of different jobs. I've been across the United States, Europe, and even into Asia. I hope I can travel further and more frequently soon. Only time will tell though.
