you're welcome, I have been designing a map of my own for a fictional story I am trying to put together... so trying to find reference and inspiration like your work is great.

So I have only designed 1 (very big) map as I am also looking at many other aspects of the world I am creating.

Nice! Much the same story for me. I started doing cartography so I could draw the maps for a novel manuscript I wrote. A year later, I spend far more time making maps than I do editing the story.

If you like the technique I use, Google "Eriond Tutorial Arsheesh". That's the basic approach I use for the terrain, and I'm quite fond of it.
