im good. sprained my wrist tho in volleyball. im gonna get the brace off hopefully soon if not next week. but the good news is is that we won our first game for the season and for like 3 yrs so im happy

Anyhow, I love volleyball too! I'm taking Volleyball next term as a class at college before I graduate. ^_^ So I guess I must REALLY LOVE IT if I am spending class time doing it. -Evil Grin-

thanks i got the clearence for my vball team so i can play again tho....i was able to get it off...it wasnt a bad sprain.

lol spending class time to play hahhaha ;D nice. for some of our games we got out at 2 50 (school ends at 3 30) so i got to miss my math class it was so funny tho....for the last two days my friend josh slept thro the entire class and part of my history class its freakin hilarious hahahah

and i wish yahz good luck on that hope u have fun cutting class while ur at it lol

Well, I can't approve of sleeping through class. I understand how many people hate the education they receive in high school, especially when it comes to history or mathematics, but still, getting a quality education is incredibly important at any age. I learned that the hard way when I entered college, I was ill-equip to handle the rigors of the college mathematical environment. I was forced to start at Freshman Mathematics (Algebra I) and work my way up.

In History, I was forced to begin my education. I had not realized what I had been missing out on, but also the depth by which I wanted to learn once I was allowed. I admit my high school wasn't the best, but still, that doesn't mean, you as a student, shouldn't put forth the maximum of effort you possibly can to succeed, and encourage those around you, your friends to do the same, so they can become good citizens, and have a fun life. Because while math may seem boring from the outside. When someone who actually gives a crap teaches it, it's actually very interesting, and allows you to take interesting classes, like engineering, physics, chemistry, etc. and don't try to tell me math isn't important there. Plus, you'd be amazed at how interesting mathematics are. It just helps having a teacher who is passionate about it. I know, I've had both kinds, and when someone can't teach it makes it all the harder to learn or want to learn. On the other hand, just because you don't have a good teacher doesn't mean you shouldn't try your hardest to be passionate about it or help others to gain some passion if they lack it. Cutting class in general is a bad idea, not because you are hurting the teacher, the school, your parents, but because you are hurting yourself. And I say that from experience. (Missed over 63 days his Sophomore year. And you want to know what. I regret it!

Anyhow, I'll give you better reasoning later, but just trust me. Don't screw up your education like I did, because it's a bitch trying to fix it later...trust me. Plus, if math really is that boring, I've got a good selection of books you might find helpful and interesting. ^_^ Plus a few notes. ^_^

i kno but the really irratating thing is is that im taking a class over again even tho i shouldnt. and plus i have volleyball practice right after that so...lol....i try not to fall asleep (and i havent yet) and the teacher is fun and stuff but i know everything that where doing. i have the same exact textbook from last year and i probably know some or most of next yrs too......its a headache sometimes.

So why are you retaking it? I mean if you know the material, studied hard, went to every class, took copious notes, and completed every assignment when assigned I don't see how you would be retaking the class. Unless there is some defect in the previous instructor.

lol well i took the placement test thing and idk wat i got so they just put me in algebra 1 anyways...it sucks cuz i still have to do everything and i was supposed to go into geometry. but since i cant change anything (plus the school got my last name wrong) its easy hw and an easy A which i really need cuz im failing like 3 other classes.....i dont even know y i am but i kno i am.....i saw a glimpse of my grade....bio, world history and probably PE cuz i forgot to turn in stuff we have to write every freaking week for PE and it sucks. i have to ask my teachers for extra credit or something cuz i need all my grades to be As cuz of my scholarship (no not full, 25%). otherwise i cant afford to go to anyother school and my mom "will homeschool me before putting me in public school" (taken from her words herself) my bros went to public school and got into drugs and she doesnt want me to be the same......
