I've been good, it's been such a long time! But you should be happy to know that the one OC I adopted from you (this fruity bat pony) has gotten lots of love in the past few years! I've written a whole story around her and her friends, and she's become one of my main OCs!

I read your journal about coming back to dA, but I wanna hear about what you've been up to and what you've been drawing in the meantime Your art style seems to have evolved quite a bit since the last time you posted!

I'm so happy to see her out and about being used and so well loved ^^ She certainly went to a good home.

Aw thanks well, when I left I had practically just started university so for the past three years I've been doing less personal work such as MLP, Sonic, manga ect
and working more on still life, life drawings, children's book illustrations and even editorial work for companies. I've been trying to get my own personal art style developed for working in the children's book illustration career  
I've not actually drawn ponies during that time, it's the first time I've drawn them for a while so it's nice to hear it's actually evolved slightly ^^

Yeah I've commissioned quite a bit of art of her as well, you've probably seen that around

I've been trying to get more into "non fandom" drawing myself, it's just so much more universal. I think you'd be fantastic as a child's book illustrator! I just watch'd your other account, I can't wait to see more of your work there (If you don't mind me asking, what sort of children's book would you want to make? Any specific ideas or themes in mind?)

Yeah! That's where I've been seeing her haha  

It does make a nice change from drawing non fandom work, but I have missed it because I don't have a tutor over my back saying they don't like it or something.

I don't mind the questions ^^ 
Currently I'm working on a children's book maybe for like 6 year olds and younger? about our pet chickens, goose and turkey.
That one is basically a story with morals where a new bird comes along, the older birds aren't sure untill the new bird saves them sort of thing.
I'd like to make more books aimed at younger children, based more on agricultural subjects, try to get children more intrested in such things and see there's actually more to chickens, geese and turkeys other than just eating them. I also like dinosaurs and stories to do with a child's imagination such as toys coming to life. 

But I'd also like to experiment with stories for children with a more gothic feel to it. 
I'm working on an Edgar Alan Po children book version of one of his tales which should be fun
