thank you for being one of the few who even remembered my bday I know, this is insanely late, but I saw your post about my bday and that amazing slice of cake, and it make me really happy. From the flat 'meh' I'm working on pushing away to a legit happiness, thank you. I didn't really have a birthday this year... it was strange. No family thing, no friend things, nothing really 'birthday-y' at all. I barely remember what went wrong with the family, think it was just a little "hey is anything free?" "nope" kinda thing. :/ It was kinda a low point, family wise, quite the let down that nobody really cared... Was so busy I didn't really have the time to think about i though, so I should blame myself a little too, maybe they just needed a little more prodding. Sometimes being an adult is depressing lol. But I digress. Thank you mon ami, and I really should of said that back on march 1st or 2nd.

Hi Enneirda
I just got back from the hospital since last week. I had to go in for a heart attack. Crazy huh? But when I saw your reply the attack was instantaneous!
Actually I was a tad flu-ridden these past several days. So that's why I didn't reply sooner. Also, my laptop is really quite useless and therefore I do most of my corresponding here on my iPhone, which, as you can imagine, entails my right hand's most bulbous digit only to write. Writing with two thumbs is simply silly to even try with my big mitts
Anyway I'm really quite smile-ified to hear from you again after so much time. I can say with absolute honesty that I have missed you I will write more via Note

A heart attack?! JOSH! Dude! You almost gave me a heart attack just thinking about it! D: No heart attacks for you, no. nope. nada. sin. You're going to be healthy and live forever and all that shit, definitely no heart attacks. Not physically possible. It'd be like a floating elephant, aka, not happening.
I'm so glad you're okay, you must be, you still got that awesome sense of humor. Man, I don't know what I would of done. Geez. Are you okay? it was minor I assume, as you weren't bed ridden for long at all?
I'm going to go find this note right this minute mon ami.

Oops! Sorry for scaring you . I didn't even SAY the word hospital recently . I was just saying I had a heart attack when I saw your message after so long .
Sorry about that! My health has been nowhere near end-of-days . Just in the Uncomfortable department, and with visits from the Annoying department. .

Hey Josh! I've missed you too man, very much so. Life took a turn for the worse when I cracked me computer screen AND the car died... Had to settle a hella mess. Oy vey, not fun for awhile... but I'm back in action! The screen was a mighty fine fix, free via a church dude verses 300 at best buy! I was so happy to of realized I had a computer geek right under my nose lol. As for the ride, just managed to get myself an awesome honda fit. Took a long while to find one that was viable, mum was an amazing taxi in the meantime luckily. So life's been rabid hectic, but I got it stabilized finally I think lol. Sorry to of left you so long, and I'll be dusting off that note and shipping it back stat!

Oh yes, much indoors. And my dear ride is well ac'd, so I shall function quite well I dare say. The weather isn't that bad, yet. Still windy, still cool in the evenings under the stars, still crisp in the morning dew.

Happy Birthday Enneirda! I only had enough points left on here for one cake for you, but it's the thought that counts when counting right?...? , or if like Count Dracula is in scratched cd mode...i.e. ONE! ONE WONDERFUL DELICIOUS CAKE! HAHAHAH ONE! ONE WONDERFUL DELICIOUS CAKE!! .HAHAHAHA...ONE! ONE WONDERFUL DELICIOUS CAKE!!! HAHHAHAH...ONE! ONE WONDER......
Hope you're getting enough rest and have time to eat a real cake. Or most of one!

Dioko In reply to contemporaryhart [2014-03-05 17:05:17 +0000 UTC]
Oh aye, one works fine lol. One's more then I had after all! Thanks ya. Good call on the Count Dracula, I needed the laugh! Oh, and one cake is more then I've gotten thus far! We're waiting to get the clan together for the proper boring dinner/cake dealio, hopefully this weekend, but for now no cake... Think I'll go with a oreo crusted caramel cheesecake when we do get around to it.
I did have a celebration of sorts though, I went caving! I got a bud who's in a caving group, and he has been asking me along of late. This one (to whirlpool in austin -about three hours away, go carpooling-) fell right on the 1st. We entered through a grid in the ground and were down there for five hours! It was nice, but so horizontal, with a lot of crawling. Worst spot was the one called the corkscrew birthcanal lol. Had to be somewhat sideways and almost shimmy through one spot! I explored everything offered to me (our troop of eight explored 2/3rds of it) minus one hole in the ground they said could justttt be turned around in. I quite enjoyed it all, even if my muscles didn't. All the inch worm motions the caved asked for aren't exactly routine, so I felt like I'd been in a wreck the day after lol. I'm almost back to normal now, still sore, but not enough to slow down my work like monday. Oh, and the ratio was ten males to three females! Apparently it's pretty normal for fems to be a rare breed in the art. Though the head of the texas cavers is a female, so we're well represented lol.

Haha.. That's one cool sounding cake! Delicious as well!
The whole caving dealio sounds so wild! I had no idea such tours and such caves existed! I bet I'd be a little sore too Glad you had a good time then, and were well represented by the female side I'd imagine the whole thing'd be a bit different if you were the only lass in the group.
Hope you've had the clan cake connection by now and that studies are going well

Dioko In reply to contemporaryhart [2014-03-12 03:45:25 +0000 UTC]
I hadn't realized it either, before my bud brought me into the fold lol. Apparently caving is a big deal for a lot of people over here. Seems to be no shortage of folks eager to throw up there hands when the leaders offer a cave and day. This is the cave actually. I'd of loved to of gotten some shots of my own, but there was no way in hell helen was going down there lol. www.google.com/search?q=whirlp… Oh I was the only female lol. We split off into two groups, and my guy wasn't being very bold, so I choice us the side that was lead by Wes. Wes beat out Ray, for the maybe 10 minutes I'd known the two of them! (smart of me, for apparently ray really likes the tunnels that require heavy duty crawling) The other two dames, holly and... Mary? Picked the other. So it was me and the eight boys. Honestly I prefer the company of men, woman, around here at least like clothes, boys, and really high pitched laughter just a little too much lol. Too much tomboy still remains in me I do suppose? I work a lot better and happier as one of the boys over a female on the fringe of a cliche.
Clan dinner connection was formed! We went to my favorite place, a combo of indian and chinese cuisine. I'm in a several month long love affair with their navarathan korma. Sadly eldest thought her dish was too spicy and mum was horrified with the menu. But sibling and dad ate all of theirs lol.

Wow! Those look quite fun! I had no idea such "caving" tours existed. Yeah, I suppose I'm similar and often hang out with the opposites..lol. I'm not effeminate or anything lol..but I'm not all one sided in my thinking either..lol. I find a couple of the male teachers I work with for instance sounding just like some construction guys...just talking about sports or how many students they've 'been' with I find it a bit boring and so many of my friends are girls. The guy friends I have are perhaps just more thoughtful....respectful...than average guys. Either way it doesn't matter. Glad you had a good time and didn't have to listen to high pitched laughter lol....especially since the caves would likely echo such shrill sounds!
The birthday dinner sounds quite yummy! Or at least for you The others sound like the Three Bears a bit..."mine was too spicy"...."mine was not good at all" "mine was just right"...

We do sound pretty sim in that yes. I'm the same with females as you with males, they gotta be a bit unusual for real friendships lol. I have a few lovely female buds... they're just a lot rarer. Mhm, it just might of lol. They seemed like good gals honestly. It's just their behavior was very exclusive and a bit cliquish... so I was like nah from the get go.
Good reference, they were quite like the three bears. I got it figure out though, I'm planning to go there again soon... with a friend that also loves it! This way we can chatter about the awesome noms unrebuked.

Yeah, it's neat how some folks are different. The older I get the more I take the advice I was given when I was 10 and up....just enjoy and be yourself.....and later the song "don't worry, be happy" was good too

Childhood advice really is a thing of beauty lol. And maybe a little movie advice too? That line from bambi, "if you can't say something nice don't say nothing at all" has come into play with me several times in the last month lol. It's kinda sad how we believe it things like that as children, but most of us never seem capable of retaining it. :/

contemporaryhart In reply to Dioko [2014-07-05 06:33:10 +0000 UTC]
Haha...I actually didn't know that line was from Bambi! My dad used to say it a lot, and I thought it made sense, and kept it in my head even till recent years. The funny thing is I thought it was my dad's idea! LOL Yeah, it's a curious thing how it gets to be unfun for adults, to see things wisely, like a kid
