That's a shame. While there very well are artists that exist that perform better on a technical level, I've yet to find one whose art appealed to me in the way yours did and as funny as this may sound, that SSJ4 Fluttershy image you made back when you called yourself Zephyr, (I forgot about your name change so that actually made it hard for me to find HDS again) really struck a certain chord for me. I like DBZ, I like MLP, and to see the two mashed up in such a finely tuned and detailed way really hit home for me. Simple, but effective. I even still use that image as an avatar for some of my accounts. I love that silly little picture, it's great. Maybe one day when I stop being lazy and get motivated I can draw something like that myself. I'd love to be even half as good as you. Once again, I haven't found an artist quite like you.
I liked your work. A lot. I'm going to miss it and I'm sad that there's no gallery for me to look back on. I can't force you to come back to drawing, I wouldn't want to, and I wish you the best of luck to whatever it is that you chosen to do now. And honestly, thanks for the reply. I wasn't expecting one. I thought this account was completely dead.
Best of luck to you again.

Question for your old Qlimax artwork. Was there anything special about the crystal spike on her right shoulder?
I thought there was, but I can't remember.

Hi. At the beginning I'd like to thank for memory and using this old artwork.
I guess this picture will explain everything
ufile.io/32kh2
its Her weak point (one hit she's down) and also erogenous point (one caress and she's ... down in a different way).

Lack of constructive feedback was an signal for me that people doesnt need that kind of artwork which I could provide, so I decided to remove it.

That sounds a little selfish TBH, I know a lot of times I miss out on giving feedback just because I've gotten behind with DA, like now I'm just clearing out my follow list of stuff that no longer pertains to my interests or that has become a dead account. So my inbox is still swelling past 6k images and I still work 43+ hours a week.
People understand slow paces with IRL stuff going on, and will give feedback if you ask for it. but I don't plan on it coming naturally.

Why selfish ? I was 100% no-profit, I dont have a patreons I did everything for free. All money which I 've got from TPM I send to Mane6 devs. I'll say more - always in description I put link to SOURCE for files (even many of "patreon arti$t$" dont do it). So now, when I deleted my work it's a little selfish ? Why ? Please be kind to explain it.

KieDough In reply to DimidiumMorsUmbra [2017-07-19 15:42:02 +0000 UTC]
Deleting removes the chance for it to inspire others, it's condemning the spark it could have given to start the flame for a new artist, and the fuel for someone just trying to burn some art block off.

So It means that big companies like for instance Boeing have to publish their itelectual achievements nad know-how knowledge to not be selfish ? Artwork, engineering, music etc. Its a fruit of great effort nad hard work of man (or group of people) who did this. And I think that, when they are publishing something it is their free and kind will so when they decided to remove it nobody can say that is selfish. There is only a few exception:
1) They took money for this (I didnt so I have full moral-law to decide),
2) If You respect co-author You shouldn't delete Your work if co-author ask for this (I didnt ask co-authors but I decided to not remove collabs).

not a very fair comparison as blueprints are the means to 1 end, and concept art is purchased by a company to keep the rights.
On the other hand there is art that was once freely given but then taken away. that is what I don't see as just here. unless you're creating on another platform you're kind of robbing yourself too from comments that could have been made, as you said you were wanting better feedback.

You know, I dont think that my work was very good. But I think that people should to learn how "the lost" taste. Just like I said my work wasn't a big deal - but I know my value, I know how much time and effort it cost me. I damaged my sight now I need very storn glasses. It's like karma I care about others inspiration now as much as they cared about my inspiration.

you didn't push yourself out of art after damaging your eyesight did you? I'd hope it wasn't retaliation on yourself, self damaging is not a good way to deal with things

Ouch, this is the most I have ever seen pulled out of him. I am starting to think that the lack of feedback was not the biggest factor after all. You are right, self damage is not good at all.

regardless of the reason for pulling all your artwork, I personally obtained a lot of inspiration from all of your artwork for the really high quality vectors you made, and made that my own standard for when I work on a vector.
It is difficult to be leaving constructive feedback when jaws are left on the floor and breathless. There are very _very_ few vectors in existence that meet or exceed the quality of your vectors.

The scene sucks, partly because I suck at drawing, but I wanted to share this with you, as you were one of the main inspirations for making detailed vectors...

I lost satisfaction from publishing my arts. You know vectoring is really hard work and when You are putting You hearth and time into something wich can took You even 100-200 hours and You have a lack of CONSTRUCTIVE feedback - You are starting to think that it has no sense.

Aww man, I just came here to see that you have nuked your page. Fuck. If I had known, I would have spent A LOT of time trying to create some detailed feedback on each and every one of your works. The truth is, your work was so amazing that I would feel way out of my league trying to critique it (and I am sure a lot of other people felt the same). It would be like watching a 5 year old who does coloring books trying to give feedback to Thomas Kinkade on his paintings.
I think you were a shining example on the kind of art this fandom can create without having to resort to a paywall or exclusive content. I can understand the frustration from the lack of real feedback (I have experienced it myself), but the truth is, people are lazy. I am sure there are a lot of people that you may not know about that really do enjoy your art. It may not feel like it, but it does make a lot of sense for you to create and publish art. I am sure it is demotivating to see other artists become more popular or to have so much competition in general, but you still brought something very unique to the mix with your lovely detailed manes/tails and the extremely generous distribution of the source files. I even have seen other newer artists become inspired by your art style.
Of course, I am not here to force you into anything. You do what makes YOU happy. You do not owe anyone ANYTHING at all. You should only be putting that many hours into your art if you enjoy it, not to make some no-face jerks on the internet happy. I just hope this is the only reason for you to delete your art and not something severe with your personal life. In any case, look at it this way: there are MANY people who use WAY more hours to play video games and have nothing to show for it while you have used your time to create some awesome art pieces and have made some nice improvements to your skill as well. You get to keep that artwork as a reminder that your time was not wasted.
That is all I have to say for now, good luck with your future and I hope that engineering degree is working well for you. Don't let anyone bring you down.

I know what you mean. I didn't have a lot, if any, constructive feed back on the stories that I wrote. But you know what I did? I kept writing because I liked it. I liked what I was putting out and as long as I liked it, then it didn't matter what other's thought. So don't let other's dictate what you do. You do what makes YOU happy. And just so you know, I loved the pony game that you made.
