How are you doing? Staying safe? My job said "telework", which is great, but I'm going stir-crazy. I'm taking refuge in fanfiction with The Shadow and my old character Carrick. Because the world needs edgy 1930's heroes who blast the bad guys with a pair of .45s. Caz would approve. 
The Star in the Well - Part 1Prologue
The year is 1935. The mysterious crime-fighter known as The Shadow has been defending the cause of Justice in his own way since 1931. Working from his base in New York City and aided by his many agents, he seeks out the masters of evil the police cannot stop and brings their crimes to an end. Masquerading as wealthy socialite Lamont Cranston, the Shadow moves unseen between the many venues of the city, alert for the traces of true evil.

Well, I had planned to go to Seattle for ECCC, but that was canceled, so I had a staycation. I'm now back at work and trying to get permission to work from home (I'm admin, so not essential), but the company is dragging its heels. I'm not stir crazy so much as terrified of this thing. I have a new kitten to keep me busy (Vinny feels he must be part of everything I'm doing). As for creative stuff, I've been in a slump. I have a sketch of an Amabie (Japanese yokai meant to fight off disease if you draw her picture), and I need to ink and finish. Will post it here when I do.

Wonder if cons could be virtual? We were using Skype at work but big meetings totally hammer it, so now we are using Microsoft Workplace and that does much better. Unfortunately, that's a corporate-level chunk of software, so probably not doable for a fan-function, but you never know.
Kittens are good therapy for almost everything.
Keep after your company, no one needs to get sick right now. Keep your mind occupied if you can. I'll be online in WoW now and again if you want to meet up and slay monsters or chat. I've been enjoying WoW classic so much.

As of today, they changed their mind, so today was my first remote work day. I feel relieved, tbh.
After Gabe and Misha died in 2018, I had planned to settle with just two cats. That didn't last long. A year ago this week, Charlie came into the house. Then my neighbor showed up with a kitten that had been thrown from a car. Akemi, sadly, didn't make it, but the kitten I fostered to keep her company did well with my group, then got adopted, so I offered to take in a mom and six kittens. One of those kittens became a "foster fail." Vinny is very entertaining, but he is hard to keep off the keyboard.

Aye, after my Gremalkin died in 2017, I figured I wouldn't go looking for more kitties. Noel ran in the door right before Christmas later that year. What'cha gonna do?
So glad you are teleworking! Our state just sent out an ALERT via our cell phones to say, "Stay home, unless your job is essential!" So far, I've got stuff to keep me busy, so all is well - or as well as it can be right now.

I think your gallery is brilliant and intimidatingly professional. As for the fave, in all my years of fandom, I have seldom seen a fan capture the bird species the way you've done, both accurately and in caricature, blending in the colors, character personalities and costume designs as well.
