Well, someone said that you have proof that FNaFNations used to trace her art, I was wondering if that's true.

Yeah, I have about 1000+ pieces of Zen's old fnaf art for personal reference. I don't remember all 12 of nations' art that was flagged, but here's what I recall of the originals I sent to dA staff for comparison. Some of these were more like copies of design elements she had done.
Lemme see, I'm not gonna upload the actual images for security purposes but I'll show you my folder with them circled. hopefully that's clear enough to see.

That's all I can recall. I've been pretty busy with updating the wiki for my version of AU, since Ryuko has a differing storyline from how I have mine.

Take it up with deviantart staff then. They investigated with these images and agreed that copyright infringement took place and struck down all 12 images that contained artwork that used these pieces as 'bases'. -shrugs-

^ Okay, then message this person and tell him he made a staff review mistake. He's the one who oversaw the DMCA claims and issues the strikes. He's the Copyright & Etiquette Administration Project Manager and kept email contact with me and Zen about the infringement.

Yep! Me and RyukoDragon on Tumblr take care of it. I linked both our tumblrs in my journal post, that way you can find all our art and stories much easier. I'll probably transfer over some stories to here as well.
I've been adding onto the AU while I was just a caretaker and I'll keep it up as co-owner for as long as I've got ideas to add. ^-^

its a relief to know because i like a lot of peopleΒ had the same mind set about public domain but i was young and stupid i apologize ive been deleting any pics ive made of those characters out of respect so that i can stay out off the drama going on between bonz and nations i wanted to ask if bases count if so ill go delete themΒ

Ahh thank you, and I'm sorry if you got caught up in that. If Nations had simply respected the wishes of the creator, maybe this wouldn't have happened and a nice compromise could have been found. I've helped lots of people come up with new Purple Guy designs and names, but it's always upsetting when I come across someone who stubbornly won't change to help out.
If you want to draw the characters from my version of the AU or Ryuko's, you certainly can! Just provide a credit to one of us or a link to our blogs so people can find the source. And especially important for Vincent, show him as a positive figure; in our AUs he helps children and tries his best to find justice for those who have been hurt, and these versions are based on Bones' Vince character in Pilot, a video game hero who defeats children's nightmares.
That's all we've ever asked of people; credit us or Bones properly and take Vincent out of the Purple Guy role since that's not him anymore.
