For the quality of the writing, I was surprised to see so few favorites, it definitely deserves more. What really stood out at first was the diction. This is a definite plus because it helps, as a reader, draw me in whereas some other stories are too basic or colloquial for me to get past the first paragraph.

Yeah...I can blame AP language and literature on that one.

I don't really mind that my story hasn't gotten many favorites; I'm not exactly an account that stands out. A great deal of my stuff is...well, junk compared to this single story. Adding more would likely fix the problem.
