You're welcome Dan! I make my living as a refrigeration mechanic at an underground cold storage facility. I work seven days a week and long days at that. So, much of my time is spent in a freezer. I know. Not very mysterious or romantic, but that's it. Thanks for asking!

It is Silver, actually you can only get, silver, red, white and black here in Mexico.

when they first arrived in the US you could get united gray, red, white, black, and carbon steel. now they offer shadow blue, but no silver even though it was one of the mk5 colors. that's neat.

it's okay, hablo poquito espaniol habla ingles casi a la perfeccion. i work with many Spanish speakers (primarily dominican/puerto ricans), and one of my best friends is from Piedras Negras Coahuila, but failed Spanish in school haha. I got better grades in German.

It's not perfectly intuitive, but once you become more fluent in English, German should make more sense. It's not quite as close as Spanish and Italian, but same kind of thing. You are also better at English than you think.

thank you, guess that I need a lot of practice..and more in speaking than writing..my friend says that the german is more of gutural sounds? (is correct to say in that way?)
in any case I never try to pronounce anything in german but I think that wants to learn another language is the important..

you don't need practice, you're great. german is more guttural in a way, but there are many dialects. northern german and western german accents sound a bit more soft, r's more akin to french, and soft ch sound made with the front of the mouth. southern germans tend to have a more harsh ch made with the back of the throat at times, and the swiss actually sound somewhat like scottish people but speaking german. some tend to roll their rs and the ch is much more guttural. you're not writing nonesense

there was only a couple mistakes in your post, so i fixed them

I have been to Germany, but honestly I took it because I found it to be easy and I listen to a lot of European music, Rammstein, KMFDM, Kraftwerk, etc. I took it so I could understand the lyrics better.

I took Spanish in middle school because I hated French. Then I dated that girl from Mexico (who is now one of my best friends), and I teach at a school that is 90% hispanic, so I have a bit of practice in Spanish. However I am not fluent in either German or Spanish.

Your English seems perfect to me. I think American's should apologize for basically only speaking one language. I would speak Deutsch more often with German's on DA but have forgotten much of it and I cannot speak eloquently. The best thing I had going for my was my accent and that doesn't matter here.
