Sure! This year we have used Photoshop, Illustrator(lots), Flash, Maya (just a little) and AfterEffects
Also we are going to touch on a basic game making software called GameSalad soon I heard

Yes ,I'm planning to apply for Master of animation games and interactivity at RMIT .I have been teaching my self since last year .
I don' know what kind of personal work should I put into my portfolio , so I need your help ~!

In first year we get basic skills and techniques plus some animation/art history. Next year we go into a more advanced 2D and 3D animations as well as collaborate in groups to produce stuff. And in third year, we work on a badass short film of our own AND prepare a professional level portfolio for work!

About getting into RMIT, if you are an international student (not a resident of Australia) you will have to go through the Foundation Studies program to get into animation. You just need to pass that to get into the degree and later Masters

Also, this is how you will get into RMIT (from my knowledge only, contact RMIT to confirm haha), in order:

1. First you will need Foundation Studies Program www.rmit.edu.au/browse;ID=ofgb…
2. Which will get you into a Bachelors Degree for Animation and Interactive Media www.rmit.edu.au/browse;ID=BP20… OR Games Design www.rmit.edu.au/browse;ID=BP21…
3. Finally you will reach your Masters of Animation Games and Interactivity which is in that link you posted

Unless you already have a degree right now or already graduated from another university, in which case you might be able to skip a few years
