Yes, I am definitely a Maus fan. Especially when I stood right next to it in Kubinka... man is that thing Huge. It's definitely the star of the museum. Along with the Karl 600-mm self-propelled mortar. Nothing comes close in size to these 2.

Owww that Karl Mörser thing. It is like a Red Alert game vehicle but it is real. Yes you are absoulately right. Most biggest tank almost sized half of the Maus. Karl is racing with treins, eheheh.

Too bad the Germans didn't make either the P.1000 Ratte or the P.1500 Monster. Those would have been AWESOME.
In case you don't know: the Ratte was supposed to be a giant six-tracked vehicle with a battleship turret with 2 guns (like the ones on the Scharnhorst) and a ton of light AA guns, and to weigh 1000 tons empty (no fuel or ammo or people. No AA guns either.)
The Monster was supposed to be a 1500 ton SPG with a 80 cm Gustav gun.

I heard about Ratte but I didnt know Monster thing. I just checked out it now. They are really fantastic. There are no words to say about them, just fantastic.

As well as being one of the reasons why Germany lost the war: wasting WAY too much money on projects that may have been fantastic, but were neither profitable nor economically viable even for the Nazi German Economy. Like the V1, V2, and the V3. They cost a LOT more than the damage they did to the Allies.
