I'm kinda new to DA too (not really though XD)
In my words, requests are when you ask someone to draw you something, like an OC (if their requests are open). I'm not sure if all requests are free, but mine is.
A commission is something you pay the artist to make. It can be like a sketch or fullbody, etc.
An art trade is when you draw a piece and the other person also draws a piece, basically (At least I think so).
Anyway, I would be glad to draw whatever you give
