Thanks, but I haven't been able to make anything in quite some time, mostly due to lack of resources and proper equipment.

Believe me, I tried for quite some time. Β But (luckily enough) I found my passion in writing. Β I'm working on a compilation book right now filled with stories about love between men and monsters.

Ah I see. I used to do a lot of writing. Lost all my old works in a hard drive failure though. But honestly at first I had no talent for drawing at all. My early stuff was really bad. The writing I used to do helped a lot with dialog in my comics. One of the early things that helped was doing picture edits and studying other comics. I had to force myself to learn. I used to tell everyone I had no talents and would ask for free commissions. Eventually I got sick of playing the downer and just sat down with pencil and paper. The paper is just common printing paper. And one stack lasted me 4 years. And the pencils and erasers I can get from a dollar store. So aside from the computer and scanner, it's a very cheap hobby. The program I use, Paint.NET is free too. Aside from all that I invested in an electric pencil sharpener, which I found at a Goodwill store. My scanner was a hand-me-down too. So I've really not spent a lot of money making comics. From your metal work, I can see you have an eye for creativity and detail. So I think you could do it if you did what I did. In the long run, it really wasn't as hard as I thought because I got a lot better at it.

Huh. Β You make a very convincing argument, but I'm just gonna stick with writing for now, and maybe down the road, someone will read my work and make a fan comic of it. Β I plan on posting a few of my finished one-shots here soon.
