I hear ya. Just gotta stay busy. Keep a positive/optimistic mindset. That's what I'm doing.

Everyday I wake up, still in the game. I decide from that point on it's going to be a good one. Not easy to do considering a majority of my life I've been a pessimist. Had to change that. The past year or so has resulted in a lot of changes, a lot of evolution and growth. And now, comes another change due to having to move up my own plans due to the "current climate".

But I manage. Just gotta stop worrying about everyone else. Focus on myself, on what I CAN control and change. It's how I've been able to move forward in my life after messing up so much. Finally found my way in life. Only took 30+ years to do it. >> Better late than never I guess.

As for myself, yeah, still here. I still consider it my "online home", so sentimentality is one of the reasons I've still remained here.

Still alive. Alot of personal stuff being going on, hence the lack of activity here, which sucks. But life comes first, right? Still, managing to find time to continue writing scripts for the webcomic I announced awhile ago, though. Honestly, I stopped doing journal and status updates BECAUSE my personal life kept interfering with each deadline I put up.

That was the long answer.

The short answer is, I'm doing alright and I'm making progress.

I'm missing Minneapolis. I lived there for five years riding the bus and light rail.

In the past month, my car has hit me for over two grand -- which I haven't had.

I'm right there with you on the personal stuff. I'm forcing myself to stay active with the art.
